You are correct about SC having a strong tradition. Florida, however, does not. The first thing out of his mouth is he's looking for a school with strong tradition. Without question, this eliminates the Gators. It's down to two, my friends.

Florida has had a great "tradition" for as long as he has been on this planet..... I'd say that matters more to him than what happened decades ago.

I couldnt agree more. soon his decision will get out. We already know that he knows where he is going regardless of what he says. I think he is just keeping open to keep all eyes on him for a little longer. I find it hard to believe that 2 weeks is going to make that much difference from today. He has been to see us all, he knows, now he is keeping the spotlight on him. I say if it us who he chooses, then the Retig offer will only speed Scroogins up IMHO

I don't think that Kiffin's brewing up anything here. They are in scramble mode for a QB and honestly I don't think that they know exactly where they are going to go if/when Scroggins goes to USC. They have dropped the ball this year because of the talent pool mostly, but not having at least a #2 guy on board by now is really hurting them.

As for not signing a QB, it seems they have. It's either Scroggins or Rettig and they seem to be happy with either, but prefer Scroggins. Rettig seems to understand that as well. Also, NL is a Vol. Correct?

By all accounts, as long as he does the work to satisfy the SEC, he will just show up by August 3rd or 4th.

We will know when everything is cleared that he will be a Vol. There will be a public announcement. He won't just show up on campus one day if that's what you were implying. He doesn't have to sign a LOI, but that should be obvious. It's July.
