We will know when everything is cleared that he will be a Vol. There will be a public announcement. He won't just show up on campus one day if that's what you were implying. He doesn't have to sign a LOI, but that should be obvious. It's July.

I don't know about a public announcement, but there will be several articles. I don't think you'll see much fanfare when he gets here.

Some people think so, but not really. Seems to be a 50/50 between us and USC however.

Matt- Scroggins now says Depth Chart is number one concern plus there is video interview in here where he basically only discusses UT cuz that is all he was asked about. Thus people are now feeling optimistic.

I am not one. I feel it is really an unknown but hey go watch the video.

Okay. here is my 2 cents. That interview was only UT because thats what the reporter only asked about.

Depth being number 1 makes me feel a lil better, but i still think he will go to usc. The depth part is makin me think tho.

He could have easily rebuttaled the question and discussed the other schools tradtion which he didn't do. He could have tlked UT then added in the other schools which he didn't. He knows which side his bread is buttered on IMO

He could have - but I still wouldn't look to much into it. If he had - then it would have signaled who was his real leader basically if he decides to discuss USC when asked about Tennessee.

When he says academics and tradition - USC fits the bill better than us. Florida would too I guess depending on what he considers "tradition" - but he's probably not going there.

He's struggling between UT and USC. The more he thinks about it, the better our chances. We have the rational 'high ground' on this one. They have the emotional one.

I just watched the video...and I thouhgt it was very odd that the interviewer brought up UT more than USC or even Florida. I figured he would try to discuss all three schools equally. I'm definitely not getting that he coming to UT vibe from it but I do hope he comes here.
