Dude, when you want to start comparing notes over more than than the past 4-5yrs, then let's talk. USC, like FSU for many years was able to soak up all the media attention cause they are the only good team in their conference. That's evident when UF whips their tail year in, year out. Same with Miami. If USC had to play an SEC schedule every year, they'd suck donkey balls. That's why the SEC is WIDELY known to be the best conference...cause it's a meat grinder to get through unscathed. Especially when you have to play Florida every year.

I'd love to swap schedules with you guys for just one year. When you're winning, everyone wants your players...but when you have a rough year, it's the reverse. Guarantee you, if USC had to play UF, UGA, and Bama last year, those NFL draft #'s drop dramatically.

And of those QB's..not a lot to brag about just yet. Only Carson Palmer is worth doing so. Sanchez hasn't played a snap, and he may be surprised to see Eric Ainge come on this year or the next and keep him on the bench. Your boy Leinart stunk it up in the preseason last year so an old veteran who was close to retiring had to step in and take care of business. Cassell had a good year on a GREAT team. He went to the NFL's worst team, so jury's still out if he's for real or not. If all of those guys were starters and tearing it up in the league, I'd have to agree with you, but right now, you don't have as much to brag about as you like to think.

In regards to the Qb's they are doing a hell of alot better than you and I posting back and forth on this message board. They get more arse than the metal mulisha at a monster truck show in Fontucky...


I will have to do some stat work but since this is the 4th, I will keep it short. No doubt in the long haul that the SEC has more wins over the Pac 10 but within the last 10-12 years, it has been pretty even more or less.

here is a stat a found that goes back to 2007..

Over the past 10 years (1998 - 2007), the Pac-10 actually leads the SEC 9-6 (.600).

I agree Tennesse is a great state but you really can not compare USC to Corona, Norco,Rivertucky and Lake Elsinore.

You can compare USC to Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Hollyweird and Newport Beach.

It has it's own charms here...and I've been to Venice beach and W.LA. Sure it has it's own charms, but virtually all the vegetation out here is transplanted. Almost none is native to the state. It's Desert, and the all the places you mentioned...it's still Desert beachfront...cool. Autumn football on the hill, right on the river is an envornment that sends chills up your spine...and that's before you even get into the stadium!

Our suckage has nothing to do with the fact that SEC dwarfs the Pac-10. We're part of the reason the Pac-10 has a decent record against the SEC - the other part is USC beating up on Auburn and Arkansas during their prime.

Jesse Scroggins from Lakewood High has become the quarterback the Trojans covet the most from the 2010 class and earned a scholarship after his performance at the Rising Stars Camp. But a commitment from Scroggins isn’t a given, far from it actually. He has serious interest in Florida and Tennessee after unofficial visits to those schools two weeks ago. Don’t be surprised if Lane Kiffin the Vols ends up signing Scroggins.
