I find that hard to believe, but I didn't see any other Cal QBs with an offer from UCLA.

I bet Chow also told him that the 4 star Brehaut kid they signed in the 2009 class isn't any good either. :)

Let me tell you something, the star player at lakewood is not jesse scroggins. Its Jerry Stone! The reason he didn't get any offers is because of his academic. He had to sit out 4 games his junior season. Lakewood is 2-2 when hes not playing. Well 2-1 since we always lose to Long Beach Poly.

Wow i didn't even know about him but it sounds like you might be right. Here's a quote from a rivals article in april:

"He's the best running back in the state if you ask me," a head coach in Orange County said. "To do what he did against Compton, Servite, Mission Viejo and Poly is simply amazing. He's big. He's strong. He's physical. He's fast. I can't believe that nobody is talking about him out here. His teammates are really good, but he's incredible."

I am happy with Oku, Williams, and that guy....Who is he.....Bryce Brown? We had about a 3 bajillion page post count regarding Brown and his recruitment, so I guess he's important.

Scroggings should rank up there with Bryce Brown. He's as important if not more important this year. Brown was a huge impact to show how incredible this staff is at recruiting, but Scroggins could be the cornerstone/turning point for this team for the next 4 years.

You can never have a enough top notch RB's. Offering Stone seems only win win, it would probably help with Scroggins, and if he qualifies you get what appears to be a stud, and if you dont well no harm done.
