In my mind, that's the most important thing he said in the whole article. I've always thought that we can pull him away from Florida, but it would be difficult if he was big on the Trojans. That comment eases my fear quite a bit...

Scroggins is the real deal Holyfield. We are giving him the royal treatment because our staff know that he's their guy. Boyd Shmoyd. It's all about Jesse.

Why do we continually bring up Boyd? He's dead to me.

I know he said that, I'm saying to think he told Boyd to look elsewhere to say, "Scroggins look at the depth chart, we didn't take anyone last year just for you." That is just idiotic to think.

Jacka$$...let me break it down real slow like....when Kiffin said "I don't want to take a QB who will just GET BEAT OUT BY THE NEXT CLASS"...that's what he is saying. What part of "next class" don't you get dip stick?
Scroggins and Heaps were/are the top targets he thinks would beat Boyd out. Who in the hell do you think CLK was referring to then?

And CLK ran the currently committed 09 class off in favor of the QB's he's after in 2010...which includes Scroggins.

Coach speak or not, I'm just relaying his words. What is dumb about that...and why did it deserve an insult from a$$wipe?

He hadn't even had a chance to look at 2010 options. LWS just said that a few posts up. I misread your stupid gibberish because you capitalized and bolded half your rambling.

Kiffin obviously felt, at the time he made the comment (which he did on more than one occasion), that he was likely going to find a better prospect in 2010. If we take him at his word...that means he wants HIS pick, HIS guy under center...not Coach Fulmer's, for the next few years.
So, yes, he was holding out...and yes, Jesse is the the kind of prospect he has been holding out for. That being the case, why would he not make that point known to Jesse? You don't think that would be a good selling point, to know that a coach let a 5* prospect get away, so he could get a prospect like Jesse? If I were in the kids shoes, that would make me feel pretty special and wanted.
