I hope you are right. Our staff is really working it right now. Maybe Jesse was no 1 on the board for QBs this entire time.

Kiffin always said that he was going to take only the best guys who fit our scheme and they will not settle for anything less. Scroggins was getting attention from arguably the two best schools in football now - USC and UF. Heaps, Sims, Hendrix and others were not getting the attention from these two powerhouses. Scroggins must be the real deal.

Lord, Please give us Scroggins.

Didn't he get some stuff stolen at camp? Maybe somebody stole his hat and the coaches felt bad and decided to give him a better one. Scroggins was so grateful he gave them all a great, big hug.

as long as we're making unrealistic prognostications, then i guess it's conceivable that all of the other kids at camp were making fun of scroggin's haircut, so the coaches brought him a hat to cover it up and he was so overcome with emotion that he broke down and started crying on their shoulders...but i'll stick with the commitment scenario.

There has got to be more substantial evidence to this rumor than just coach huggin and hat wearin.

3 hours before this rumor started, NYC said that he has made some calls and UT pulled out all the stops for Scroggins and his parents. In the same post, he also said that from what he has heard it isn't a done deal, but after this weekend, the Vols feel confident....
