Hey Matt, welcome back!Where have you been lately?:clapping:
I'm not worried about him showing out good, I just want to hear a verbal commitment from him this week! I wouldn't mind seeing the rock painted for him when I come to campus for orientation the 15th
I had mine today. it is soooo boring. food is good, and getting your schedule is a pain in the butt. it took like 2 hrs just to get classes lined up. With Heaps out of the was a Verbal commit is not totally out of the question, especially the way he sounded in his last quote.
Burnetti's camp didnt impress the Rivals guy's in the video i watched. I saw what Hubbs and the others posted too. IMHO I would love to see a combination of these four QBs....Scroggins, Rettig, Burnetti, Munchie. I think Munchie could be our number 2 QB. He has bigtime upside.
Matt, I don't think Munchie is going to do it personnally. I have heard from multiple people that don't even think he is going to be a QB in college, and on top of that, he is really short. I like Munchie don't get me wrong. He has a good arm and accurate throwing on the run, I just do not think he is going to get it done. Hendrix is a much better #2.
I agree with some of what you're saying. Munchie isn't short though, he is 6'4". And from video I have seen, he is not very accurate on bootlegs or scrambles.
My bad, the height issue was with Brunetti. So many guys to keep track of messes with your head. I understand that from what I've heard recently with Munchie that his accuracy was not that great, especially during camp. But, with the highlight tape that I did watch, I did think he was relatively accurate. It was only one clip, so I can't put all my eggs in that basket. I still have Hendrix as my #2 right now.
Where did you transfer from Matt? You weren't at MTSU with bigtime were you?
I had a chance to watch Hendrix in person this past fall when they played my high school. He lit our secondary up (which our secondary is always terrible), and drove Moeller down to a game winning drive. He managed the game well, plus I am a slight Ohio homer.
I would be thrilled if we landed Hendrix. It's going to be a battle though.
No i was at Motlow St CC. I signed to play baseball, but decieded to go another route after they told me my schedule was going to get expanded to 9 years, so i had to go there. Motlow is famous for Bryan Morris, 1st round pic of the dodgers. They traded him away for Manny.
What hurts Munchie's accuracy is that he is a side armer. ala VY.
Or they incorporate the west coast offense with lots of short, quick routes. He still hasn't fully developed his throwing motion. That may be due to poor coaching. I won't speculate. But he isn't very consistent with his delivery which IMO affects his accuracy. He must have excellent WRs because his completion percentage was very good last year.
