agreed, i was a little concerned at first as the logos on his myspace page could be a little confusing.

USC's logo shows up on the 1st page of an logo search

Florida's shows up on the 2nd page of an logo search

and lastly, our beloved Power T he has posted shows up on the 3rd page of a logo search.

Theres really not a logical explanation as to why we would be 3rd given the talent/depth of USC and Florida. With that said, the fact he went all the way to the 3rd page to find a Tennessee logo with a football suggest to me he is ALL VOL, hope im right. :unsure:

Wednesday is the day! Only a few more days of following this debacle...Here's hoping he will surprise everyone and choose the Vols. Any chance this thread gets to 10,000 posts before then.

Makes sense! I think he's just trying to play it out that way,& make things look confusing too everyone. Most insiders get an idea where recruits are going to commit to. JS does not want anyone to know until it comes from his mouth, besides his HS coach.
If anything he wants people to think he leaning one way. Obviously most of everyone expects him to stay on the home front, & sign with SC.
I really think he is gonna shock the state of cali, & make a big splash with his announcement to be a vol. He wants to start as a freshman, & get a jump start to the next level if possible. I think this was the plan with JS & kiffin for some reason. I think CLK is playing along with JS, & making it look like we are in trouble for a QB in the 2010 class. I know CLK has have to been on this guy extremely hard. I think he has convinced JS & his dad finally, that this is the best move for early playing time. CLK know how to evaluate talent, & is looking to make a big splash going into media week! All eyes on kiffin & UT once again.

I think he just wants to make everyone aware, that he has the SC offer! Now the media is aware of his choices, & his name out there enough! JS wants to do his own thing, & great cali recruits usually commit to SC. He wants to pave his own way by going to a down program with lots of potential. He wants to be the QB that gets credit for turning our program around!
I could very easily be wrong but I sticking to my guns on this. Come wed JS will be a vol. I'm sure he really had to think hard about it though, because if he commits to UT, he will prob have to stick his decision out, because SC will fill the void,because they will feel disrespected.
If he chooses SC the door will still be open at UT, but closed at SC. Jmo!

And his family. His coach was the one that let it out the bag about the whole USC offer from the get go.

exactly!!!!!! exactly what i was thinking to. they are up to this. scroggins isnt stupid he knows usc screwed him over and didnt offer him till camp and that they dont care to have him and waited to long. i think kiffin and scroggins are seriously trying to get usc hopes up on him and trick everybody and than at the end just make their hearts drop when he picks tennessee. he wants them to regret and realize what is happenning. they are up to this cuz in the past couple interviews with kiffin he has said we might not even get a quarterback this year or we might have to wait till signing day. kiffin has never said anything like that he is always trying to get the fans confidence up so he wouldnt say something like that. everything thing makes perfecr sense on so many things. he is coming to tennessee!!!!!!!!!!beleive people

He actually decided last week and is just waiting until Wednesday to make his decision public. His coach and his family already know his decision.

Grayson + Newton would be a fine alternative, IMHO.

I just don't see how Jesse could logically turn down a VERY real chance to start as a true freshman, or at least share playing time. He is more talented than anyone we will have on the roster, and with a full spring and summer under his belt, I expect Jesse to have a solid chance to start for us next year.

Of course his coach let the SC offer out the bag. That what JS wanted, he wanted the WORLD to know he got that offer!
I don't think the SC offer was trying to be kept a secret, just his FINAL decision.

Everyone needs to realize even if he signs here he may never start a game ever. Especially if things go as planned with a '11 QB. 100 percent that we recruit over him next year. So everyone relax.

I don't think we would go after Newton,he doesn't fit the system and if they wanted depth they would get two high school quarterbacks with good potential.(That is if we lose out on Scroggins).

Exactly how I feel. We simply want him to jumpstart the recruitment of other offensive weapons. If he turns out to be good/great then that is icing on the cake.

I didn't think either would be very good QB's in the SEC. I actually thought we would get Heaps so yes. If we don't get JS we will still win some football games. I don't understand why people think he is our savior.
