Which school will Scroggins verbally commit to tomorrow?

As it has been said before, the only reason that Florida is recruiting him is to get back at Lane. He will make a great scout team QB in Gainesville if he goes there. There is no where for him in their depth chart. He would be just as well off to stay home and go to USC.

Two questions that are on the minds of USC and Tennessee Football fans, one is when will Lakeland California quarterback Jesse Scroggins make an announcement and what school will he choose. Many thought the decision could come today, it appears he will make his decision next week during the Elite 11 Camp. Go inside to get our thoughts on the delay. Does the delay favor UT?

I believe it has always been July 25th like originally stated.

This is random but watching King of the Hill..... Dale's 'son' Joesph has become a star quarterback in middle school or high school. A private school comes to him and Dale for Joesph to play there. They attempt to woo Joesph and Dale. They hold a press conference and Joesph said he is choosing to play for Tom Landry(his original school) and then Dale says unfortunately he is just a dumb kid so he will be playing for Spencer Academy. He then puts a Spencer Academy hat on Joesph. Oh man.... recruiting. Haha. Also, Bryce Brown and the Miami hat and saying "this is for my brother. here". That was funny even if he chose Oregon or LSU over Tennessee.

Drinkin' beer. Beer beer beer. The rumor was apparently false barring Bailey coming with Scroggins despite committing to USC. Anyways, Scroggins held off from announcing to day despite the rumors. He has talked about wanting to take another visit to Tennessee and Florida before deciding on the 25th. Good news for Tennessee. Let's go Scroggins let's go!

If he did leave a Vol, we wouldn't know til the 25th. I've said all along that it's 50/50 between USC/Tennessee. When people thought it was over and he was a Trojan... I continued to believe Tennessee was in it. Anyways, awesome post. :salute:

He will inform the coaches of his intent to become a Tennessee Vol.

Is that better? No, we won't hear until the 25th and that announcement will do wonders for our recruiting effort should it go down as I described.

Yes. It wouldn't be funny now because we know he is a Vol. Going into it I had faith we could get him but thought we were a long shot. When you go back to the moment of watching it live online(if you watched it live online), it was fine no matter who he chose. Pulling out his a hat for the school his brother plays for and then saying here, this is for you... that's funny.

Yeah haha. I had a feeling you meant that anyways. I was just being hard on ya. Win or lose this.... this has been a fun riding waiting. Will be sad to lose but this gives us excitement that we would not have had otherwise. We can hook with no girls, get pay rises etc. But football is king :p

Not according to Scroggins' father who said that Jesse is coming home on Saturday or Friday night and is heading to the Elite 11 on Sunday.
