I am not saying it is like this but if Scroggins told him he would not want him to tell a reporter. So this really means not much. Although, I agree the tea leaves are not in our favor.

Young QB and young Ol doesn't add up to a really successful next couple of years. But we are load at running back thats one plus

Not neccesarilly. If either of them actually know him, I'm sure he would tell them different stuff than he would tell me, but i don't believe Jacques is calling Jesse up and telling him to come to UT and Jesse's telling him he's all vol. The contact was not that in depth.

Sorry. I should have been more clear. Not the entire fan base but a lot of the fans are really worried if we don't land a quarterback this class. We will be fine with or without Scroggins imo. I do agree that landing him speeds the process of turning things back around. He has a lot of connections to the kids in this years class. You have him in some of the ears of wide receivers/o-linemen and it's big for Tennessee. It wouldn't be a total loss if we didn't get him but landed Newton.

Agree. That's not happening. It wouldn't make sense.

I think SingO is legit too. I just don't think Scroggins has told Jac that he's a Vol. It's too dangerous... as I mentioned earlier.

Both UT and USC are legit contenders in 2012. The last guy you want with a grudge, if you're going to SC, is Jac. He'll destoy him in an NC game.

Our D in either 2012 or 2013 will be remembered as one of the best all-time defenses to have played the college game... book it!

While it's reaching somewhat to put us up there with USC in 2012, I like the destroying part. :)

It's reaching more on offense. But, remember we may have the best kicker the college game has ever seen. We only need to break midfield to score. :rock:

We won't need a Lane Kiffin USC offense to win with the Monte/O defense we'll have.
