1 gator player leapfrogs them over UT in the East??

I for one, are very glad Callaway will be playing against us. Not that he got off of the charges, thats a whole other matter. I want Florida healthy, firing on all cylinders, confident and undefeated when they play us this year. That way when we beat them, there will be no excuses.

They will have plenty of reasons and excuses when we run them out of Neyland.

What do you guys think the line will be?

I doubt either team will stumble prior to the game, and a lot of people will be "All aboard!" the Tennessee hype train. Plus Florida will still be adjusting, so not likely to light it up particularly, in the early games.

Game is at UT. UF took miracles to win the last two.

I think the line will be UT minus 11.

I'm thinking single digits, around 8 - 8.5
I don't know why fans on either side can predict a blowout. Both teams are top tier SEC teams.

Damn. That sure seems awfully revealing. I know CJM is a good head coach and specifically an excellent QB coach. But he better be a miracle worker if he's gonna win with Donkey, Jr.

Florida has that huge question at QB, has big questions at OL, has a question at RB until that JUCO answers it, and they lost a lot off that defense. Tennessee HAS to win this game and be done with that ridiculous streak after handing Florida the last two....this is the year to get it done.

Lol he must have all the moves, jukes, and speed of a chained up guy manning an oar on a Roman slave galley. Gee whiz, he must move like a San Jose State Banana Slug, heard of fire hydrants being speedier. Lol, Del Rio is going to be like fresh meat thrown to the lions, thinking of taking an insurance policy out on the guy, thanks KB!! I feel better, seriously!

del rio is not that good---he's never started and has traveled around the u.s. trying to find some team where he can play. Fla's desperate with no talent at QB----the UT D will eat him alive--he'll wish he was back in oregon after a couple of interceptions and sacks.

Golden Nugget has the early betting line at Tennessee -11. I'm sure LG knew this.

I think TN will win this game 100%, but I may take Florida with the 11. That's a big line for this game when TN has consistently blown up in it. I truly hope I lose my $1.

I love how Lawgator isn't even acknowledging the other gator troll in the room. Without voicing it he is saying I'm not with this guy.

Agree. I think the same is true of the other regular UF posters as well, LawrenceWright and 99Gator. Those guys are good, solid, legit posters despite where their loyalties lie. The other guy is just a trolling tool....as soon as I see him name I just scroll quickly past without reading....don't see reason to do otherwise.

Your defense had trouble stopping us last year, there's no way they stop us this year.

Well, this isn't true. Going into the 4th quarter, y'all had 247 yards and had only crossed the 50 3 times. You hadn't had a sustained drive all game until 10 minutes left in the game.

So, while YES, we didn't stop you the last 10 minutes of the game and deserved to lose with the way we played, you are FACTUALLY incorrect in saying our "defense had trouble stopping" your offense last year.

And 2015's results have no bearing on 2016, so the second quoted sentence shows the mental disadvantage you have when talking to us.

Your defense had trouble stopping us last year, there's no way they stop us this year. Mac will run the ball and grind out the yards to keep Dobbs and Hurd off the field.

27 - 9 Gators win

By your same logic, we had 27 points last year. Had 20 first downs to your 17. Had 6 ypp to your 5.5 ypp. Again, we scored 27 points. We RETURN our starting QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, OL, TE. Yes, 9 returning starters on offense. So, BY YOUR LOGIC, there is no way we score less than last year.

I find it comical that vol fans keep talking about issues with UF's offense. The offense this year will be much like the offense that you saw last year except, we have 3 RBs that will be toting the rock instead of 1 guy that played the entire game last year. The entire offense will be implemented this year, versus part of the offense being implemented last year to our freshman QB. Our O-Line have all started multiple SEC games, unlike last year when we started 3 true freshman in the win against UT. In all, we started 4 true freshman and 1 redshirt freshman on offense against UT.

Grier - QB
Callaway - WR
Johnson - OT
Ivey - G
Jordan - G

I find it comical that a Gator has nothing better to do that troll a foe's website.

Can someone go back to last August and find the same responses to Grier starting against UT? UT fans were saying the same thing until he went 5-5 on 4th down against you.

The spread will get higher after some blowout wins over App st, va tech and ohio.

I don't see a huge blowout win vs app st, I expect us to keep it very vanilla in order to not show Va Tech anything. I think the App St game line at -21 right now is very spot on, I would consider taking App st at +21.5 if it moved any more even though I have banked on taking Butch to cover the spread in the opener each of the last 3 years.

IIRC, we gave up about 29 / 33 4th down conversions last year, and it was a glaring weakness in our defense. Florida/Grier wasn't the only one to exploit that. Hence, goodbye Jancek and hello Shoop.

27 - 9, VOLS win.

See, there you go again. Reverting back to the first three qtrs and forgetting that a game is 4 qtrs long.

When I said you couldn't stop us last year, I spoke of the entire game, not the first two qtrs.

Don't you have work to do?

Guess who led the nation in 4th down conversion defense last year.....

Actually, you don't need to guess, it was Penn St. with opponents converting 4th downs on 15% of attempts. Just for comparative purposes - Tennessee allowed 4th down conversions on 75% of attempts last year. Only Eastern Michigan, Army, and Syracuse were worse at defending 4th down. ( Somehow Syracuse gave up 100% of attempts 13/13 LOL )
