I for one, are very glad Callaway will be playing against us. Not that he got off of the charges, thats a whole other matter. I want Florida healthy, firing on all cylinders, confident and undefeated when they play us this year. That way when we beat them, there will be no excuses.
What do you guys think the line will be?
I doubt either team will stumble prior to the game, and a lot of people will be "All aboard!" the Tennessee hype train. Plus Florida will still be adjusting, so not likely to light it up particularly, in the early games.
Game is at UT. UF took miracles to win the last two.
I think the line will be UT minus 11.
Damn. That sure seems awfully revealing. I know CJM is a good head coach and specifically an excellent QB coach. But he better be a miracle worker if he's gonna win with Donkey, Jr.
Florida has that huge question at QB, has big questions at OL, has a question at RB until that JUCO answers it, and they lost a lot off that defense. Tennessee HAS to win this game and be done with that ridiculous streak after handing Florida the last two....this is the year to get it done.
I love how Lawgator isn't even acknowledging the other gator troll in the room. Without voicing it he is saying I'm not with this guy.
Your defense had trouble stopping us last year, there's no way they stop us this year.
Your defense had trouble stopping us last year, there's no way they stop us this year. Mac will run the ball and grind out the yards to keep Dobbs and Hurd off the field.
27 - 9 Gators win
I find it comical that vol fans keep talking about issues with UF's offense. The offense this year will be much like the offense that you saw last year except, we have 3 RBs that will be toting the rock instead of 1 guy that played the entire game last year. The entire offense will be implemented this year, versus part of the offense being implemented last year to our freshman QB. Our O-Line have all started multiple SEC games, unlike last year when we started 3 true freshman in the win against UT. In all, we started 4 true freshman and 1 redshirt freshman on offense against UT.
Grier - QB
Callaway - WR
Johnson - OT
Ivey - G
Jordan - G

del rio is not that good---he's never started and has traveled around the u.s. trying to find some team where he can play. Fla's desperate with no talent at QB----the UT D will eat him alive--he'll wish he was back in oregon at a couple of interceptions and sacks.
The spread will get higher after some blowout wins over App st, va tech and ohio.
Can someone go back to last August and find the same responses to Grier starting against Grier? UT fans were saying the same thing until he went 5-5 on 4th down against you.
Well, this isn't true. Going into the 4th quarter, y'all had 247 yards and had only crossed the 50 3 times. You hadn't had a sustained drive all game until 10 minutes left in the game.
So, while YES, we didn't stop you the last 10 minutes of the game and deserved to lose with the way we played, you are FACTUALLY incorrect in saying our "defense had trouble stopping" your offense last year.
And 2015's results have no bearing on 2016, so the second quoted sentence shows the mental disadvantage you have when talking to us.
IIRC, we gave up about 29 / 33 4th down conversions last year, and it was a glaring weakness in our defense. Florida/Grier wasn't the only one to exploit that. Hence, goodbye Jancek and hello Shoop.
27 - 9, VOLS win.
