1 gator player leapfrogs them over UT in the East??

Apparently you can't read well so a copy again

The second point and the even better one that I currently love from Florida fans is telling us how great and improved their offense will be.....with a 2 time transfer with 18 career passes. So lets see, after Grier got suspended, Treon showed Mclwein is not a qb guru but somehow LDR is the second coming of Danny W.

Any rational FL fan would have to admit they have a huge question mark at the most important position on the field.

That's what I've been saying over and over and over.
Inexperienced at QB
No RB to speak of
Lose a ton of talent on D, but VH3 is replaceable.

I think this is more of a rhetorical question. I mean you are on the UT website where the hope and hype is at a decade-long high. But since you asked respectful question I'll try to give a respectful response. UT became better with the upgrade of our defensive coordinator. We became better when our players decided to stay and play their senior year. We became better with a senior quarterback. And we became better because we return a very strong backfield.

This player too.

I ask this as respectfully as i can.

When did Tennessee become so much better than everyone else?

I have no doubt Tennessee can accomplish (fill in the blank). I understand not only that they may, but they should.

However, i dont get the mentality that no one else belongs in the conversation.

There hasnt been a truly great team in the SEC East since 2009.

That changes now. Look at the roster and what is coming back and you should be able to figure it out compared with everyone else in the East. But I can understand a Gator needing help from a Volunteer with something as simple as understanding football.

Written as respectfully as I possibly can.

I find it comical that vol fans keep talking about issues with UF's offense. The offense this year will be much like the offense that you saw last year except, we have 3 RBs that will be toting the rock instead of 1 guy that played the entire game last year. The entire offense will be implemented this year, versus part of the offense being implemented last year to our freshman QB. Our O-Line have all started multiple SEC games, unlike last year when we started 3 true freshman in the win against UT. In all, we started 4 true freshman and 1 redshirt freshman on offense against UT.

Grier - QB
Callaway - WR
Johnson - OT
Ivey - G
Jordan - G

Your defense had trouble stopping us last year, there's no way they stop us this year. Mac will run the ball and grind out the yards to keep Dobbs and Hurd off the field.

27 - 9 Gators win

You want to put a 1,000 on that spread and I will be happy to give you 2-1 odds on it.

The answer is UTs returning experience and talent vs the lack thereof from everyone else. That's really all there is....the cherry on top is getting UF and ALA at home to further the odds of winning.

Good luck with that. I offered to take him at $250 and he ignored the offer. Something tells me he's not as confident as his internet persona lets on.

(And I kept it to $250. I initially wanted to lay more, but would have felt bad for taking more than one month's rent from him.)

Del Rio had scholarship offers from OK State and one from CO State (coached by Mac) but he decided to walk on at Bame and play for Coach Nuss. After one season, Nussmeier left for Michigan so Del Rio went to Oregon State. Oregon St's coach then left for Nebraska and OSU brought in a spread coach. Not wanting to run that offense, he chose to play for Nussmeier again.

I know, he has only thrown 18 passes but that is 18 more passes than Grier threw before he became the starter for UF. LDR was the backup at Bama and OSU, to two guys that are currently on NFL rosters (McCarron with Cincy and Sean Mannion with the Rams).

Who knows, by the UT game, Austin Appleby may have won the starting job. Heck, both were Elite 11 QBs coming out of high school and both can see over the line so that make them both better than Treon.

If there's any questionable position on this Gator team, it's at CB. We have the two best CBs in college football but after that, we are hurting.

From a yahoo article when LDR transferred

Under Andersen, who arrived in Corvallis after two seasons at Wisconsin, the Beavers are moving toward a spread offense and Del Rio recently saw his time with the first unit decrease, according to the Oregonian.

“I want to thank Coach Andersen for the opportunity and wish all of my former teammates the best of luck this season and in the future,” Del Rio said, per the Statesman Journal.

Ahead of Del Rio are true freshman Seth Collins and redshirt freshman Nick Mitchell, both of whom are “more mobile” than Del Rio, per the Oregonian.

“If we were going to go into a game right now, we’d walk in there with Seth Collins, a true freshman. Then Nick Mitchell would be one and two, or it’d be 1A and 1B,” Andersen said Wednesday. “I couldn’t tell you who was going to start the game in this situation.”

And we are suppose to shake at a guy that lost the starting job to 2 freshman?

Ah dude, you would have had everyone take the bait if you wouldn't have put such a big win margin. Good try tho, you still got a few.

Hey, he just admitted their savior transfer QB that will be a Vol crusher may be beaten out by a freshman. lol

Guy is so full of it. Everyone--especially him--knows he's doing nothing but a leg-peeing troll job.

What do you guys think the line will be?

I doubt either team will stumble prior to the game, and a lot of people will be "All aboard!" the Tennessee hype train. Plus Florida will still be adjusting, so not likely to light it up particularly, in the early games.

Game is at UT. UF took miracles to win the last two.

I think the line will be UT minus 11.

How many Vol defenders missed Calloway on the 4th and 14 play, 3-4?

Far too many!
Go Vols....Get some

I think Vegas would bet that down in a heartbeat. No more than UT minus 6-1/2

Possible it could be more if it weren't for the streak but even I would be tempted to take UF and 11

It won't be close to that line at all, unless UF drops one of their first 3 games (UMass, UK and North Texas), which I don't see that happening at all in Gainesville. Too much history between these 2 teams since 1992 and the 11 game win streak by Florida will prevent such a line from being released.

UT -3. That's about it.

Minus the streak UT would be heavily favored.
That said it'll prolly be +/-3. Even though it's at home and we have the advantage in almost every category

Remember when Treon came in and threw 4 passes and beat the vols?
