09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

someone gonna be disappointed on monday. this kid pretty much silents to us a few weeks ago then supposably turns around and silents to um. now wilcox is led to believe hes a vol.
columbus, ga syndrome, has to be.

TheDooley is calling Miami on this one, are you still led to believe he's leaning Tenn?

Committing to Miami on his visit is not inconsistent with him coming here.

He silents to UT, then goes to Miami and gets caught up in the whole California boys going to Miami and says he's in, then leaves his visit and changes his mind back to UT, then his dad calls Wilcox and says he's a Vol.

Just like we drew it up.

TheDooley or Skeeter? Hmm...

Skeeter is more transparent. TheDooley seems to enjoy his own legend. I personally think that TheDooley is very much in the know and makes some highly educated guesses, however, with skeeter I think we have a guy with ears on the inside.

When both TheDooley and Skeeter speak, people listen. Thanks to both of you. This time I hope Skeeter is right but am excited about TheDooley's call on Wright and Dawson to UT the last few minutes!

I disagree. He has batted 100% thus far IIRC. Skeeter is an insider as well and I also think he is at 100%. Both provide solid info. Skeeter just provides it more regularly.

OK. I read his old posts. I am sold. He apparently works with the team. Good news I guess. I want Moore though. I still think he's a Vol because of the phone call his dad made and Moore saying he knew BEFORE the trip who he would pick.

Yeah he is a solid poster. But things do change quickly in recruiting. IMO, Moore DID commit to Miami while he was there in the moment, but perhaps after he thought things over, he saw a better opportunity at UT. We will know for sure when he announces...

I cant speak for TheDooley but i can for myself. Im not here trying to get 'ecred' or anything like that. Just like to pass along information when i get it. I'll be the first to tell you im wrong at times but it comes with the territory, coaches are often wrong too. recruiting has changed alot in the last 20 years, alot of these kids like to build up the drama for suprise people on nsd, happens every year. the columbus, ga recruit is a perfect example, if he were a normal recruit i would have called him to ut long ago.
info i get usually comes from a coach or someone within the admin, i rarely talk to a recruit or his family, thats where people like hubbs come into play. so if i say i think someone is coming to ut its because a coach believes it as well. thats why i say richardson is 110 percent vol til i hear diff, same with clear as of monday eve.

Are you concerned that your identity will be discovered? To be honest, I am. My understanding is that Dooley really, really doesn't like leaks.

Info travels so fast anymore really. The people who work up there are fans too, for the most part. Dooley understands that, but I understand your post 110%.

we've been on maggitt for awhile. our staff has convinced him it would probably be his jr before he sees the field at de, hes warmed up to playing lb tho.

Good to know. I knew the staff had been recruiting him for a while, but the fruits of it are finally starting to show from what I'm hearing. I just didn't wanna make a prediction I wasn't sure on. :twocents:

That is interesting. Our last two staffs would have promised him the world. Dooley is keeping it real. I swear, Philip Fulmer would have promised him that he would win a National Championship without having to play Ole Miss.
