I think he likely did tell Miami he was committed to them on his visit based on 247 throwing their neck on the line like that - but I think it could have easily changed after he left - so they could be left looking pretty stupid.

I'm only confident that 247 doesn't know for sure. I mean they got a 50/50 shot guess, they could turn out to be right. but, he is announcing monday and I'll wait to hear it from the horses mouth

I know what skeeter says but I think this one is getting played hard and hes telling the coaches what they want to hear so he can make his splash on Monday.

Anyone see the piece today on ESPN about "who" and "what" influences a recruits (signing) decision?

Summary:
Overall;
68.4% Family
further breakdown;
52.1% Dad
38.2% Mom
10.1% HS Coach
*No indicator reporter for grandma-ma, guess we'll just have to improvise using the 68.4% family data. :)

Applying the above ESPN analysis towards recruits Dawson, Moore, & Wright;
-68.4% Family/Grandma-ma, CDD's in-home went very well---1/2 the battle won---now we wait to see how the family will react to their K-Town/Campus visit. Preliminary guesstimate has, Dawson = VOL
-52% Dad, this does not bode well in signing B Moore, yes, his father called CJW after U commitment "slip-up", however, let's not forget the father having ties to the U.
-68.4 Family & 38% Mom, should definitely favor Tennessee in signing G Wright.

Accordingly,
Dawson = VOL
Moore = U
Wright = VOL

Regardless, all indicators point to Tennessee having a solid 2011 class---potentially TOP 10 BUT more likely to finish somewhere between 11-15. All things considered that is an outstanding feat. Thank you for a tremendous recruiting effort CDD & Staff! Proud to be a TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER!!!

Here's hoping Moore is part of the other 31.6. After all, he is two years out of the nest. Old enough to spurn those nasty Hurricanes.

Glad to hear about Hubbs.

I put no faith behind Miami insiders. I'm a Miami fan as well and I thought they had about 3 different coaches before we got Golden.

This thing could go either way, but I would put very little stock into the "Miami insiders" after the Gruden-to-Miami-barring-last-minute-dissaster articles...when he wasn't even a candidate.

MC I still think if you guys would give ice cream cake to your recruits you would have the #1 class every year. No more cheaping out with the cookie cake.
