09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

I will kinda be stunned if we land him, hope he comes here, but don't think he's making a bad decision if he goes to the U.

alot of fans wont be happy penvol..

i could see it now.. "its the ACC!" "the U is dead" "why play in front of empty stadiums"

its a normal reaction i guess

will never understand why you guys tore down the Orange bowl and didn't renovate it.

The ACC has some good teams, but their fan support at most schools is a joke.

How many does old J Rob hold 70,000 at most? Dude in SEC country thats Vandy numbers.

Here is what I think happened to Moore. He committed silently to the coaches here then when he visited Miami they turned him. Somehow word leaked out and I don't know if Moore called the coaches to inform them he was switching or they called hm when news leaked out, but somehow I believe they talked him into sticking with his former commitment to UT. Obviously Moore doesn't want his decision going public regardless of the school. Thus the (semi)denials.

I'm still concerned about UM coming back into the picture, but based on everything I hear and the reports that have surfaced this is the impression I get.

Yeah but you can probably buy beer there. Off campus stadium. What's more important number of fans or not having to sneak in beer?

if i was a student there, I would not get excited about driving 45 min to home games.

its 75,000 i believe...its a nice stadium if ppl could actually fill it up..it gets pretty rocking

I know, I've been there. It is also on the other side of the world from the Gables. At least it is in a lot nicer area than lower Miami. I still don't know how Shnellenberger built that program up. One of the greatest coaching jobs ever I think. I thought there for a while Leavitt and Selmon was going to do the same thing with USF. Maybe Skippy can pull it off. If UCF hadn't hired O'Leary USF would have already pulled into the elite program status IMO. As it is they just divide up each others talent pool. Nothing personal I just hate the U. You seem to be pretty good people though.:)

I hate the pirate ship, though I do enjoy the cheap tickets.

Sarcasm about pirate ship. Dead serious about the cheap tickets. Last time I visited my dad, USF was playing Kansas #13vs#19 it was an awesome game and my tickets cost 11 dollars. I actually payed more for parking.
