09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

dont make the berry/moore comparison

cane fans do the same with ray ray armstrong and sean taylor..

and poor ray ray isnt sean t. he is good...but sean was one of a kind

I get what you are saying, but I disagree. The secondary, even if we didn't count Teague, will have much more experience than the WR core for 2011. Janzen, Waggner, Gordon, and Brewer all played in all 13 games and started at some point during the season. Out of the 13 interceptions our DBs recorded last year, all of them were recorded by DBs that will return for 2011.

On the WR side of it, we lose Moore, Jones, Stocker who accounted for 141 catches last year. The return WR core of Rogers, Hunter, Rogers, and even throw in Rivera is just returning 52 catches.

It is obvious that we have much more experience returning to the defensive backfield than to the receiving core.

I hear you. I see your side of it for sure, but I still don't think Teague gets switched. I think we've got a good CB there and we'll keep it that way. Just my two cents though.

With Lane and (hopefully) Moore, that gets us to 24 commits. It seems there's only spot for a few pieces in the puzzle, but we have a lot more pieces on the table. This is going to be fascinating.

Miamicane what's the word down there on Bmoore? InsideTheU claims he commits on his visit, now he's going to commit to UT? What's happening here?

Can moore be as good as Eric Berry?

I won't dare count on Moore until NSD if his family is pushing him to Miami. It is hard for kids to defy the wishes of Ma and Pa. Fingers crossed.

well at least golden got crawford and grooms... not too shabby :)
I think you guys are experiencing what we went through this time last year. Once the season is underway and should the Canes start to show a little promise or success on the field, your fortunes will start to change dramatically.

It's hard to sell a kid on a program in a state of flux, no matter where it is.

i never was fully convinved he committed cuz he didnt say he did..

it could be the grades from juco to miami...its hard to get a juco in..i know that much..but its not impossible either
