09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

This is mainly for thunder, or anyone who knows the Rivals point system, but if you add Lane and Moore to our commitment list, I would expect us to jump Cal and Nebraska putting us in the 15th spot, correct?

According to someone on VQ, the Lane commitment moves us up to 16th, with a total of like 1,490 points. Not sure what Moore does. I think he's worth more points since he's a 5.9, not a 5.8.

I think after everything came out that he was a Cane yesterday, BMoore had to let it slip that he was a Vol today to keep it exciting for tomorrow. I still think he's a Cane, have for weeks.

Wait...you're telling me that B.Moore had his daddy call our DC and flat out lie to him to ' keep things exciting'??? Gimme a break.

According to my spreadsheet...when Lane is figured into our score (which hasn't happened on their site yet) we will have 1498 points...which puts us ahead of both Cal and Nebraska (barely)....

Moore will likely put us in the upper 1500's which would leap frog us over Texas Tech and maybe UNC

:hi:

I was going off of what Skeeter said. Skeeter said that Moore's father told Wilcox and the UT coaches that Moore would be a Vol, but that he was not happy about it. The fact that it was included that he was unhappy about the decision shows me that he was obviously showing or voicing his unhappiness about it. Which IMO is childish. But enough of Moore's father.

Let's not bash Dad too much...Skeeter brought us the news but I doubt he was in on the call from Dad. It might be nothing more than Skeeter's choice of words...Dad might easily have said "my son is coming to UT but I was hoping it would be the U". Personally, I think if Dad was so adamantly opposed to it, he wouldn't have been the one to give UT the news.

This.

Plus Moore has already done this dance once when he committed to USC. I doubt he cares enough about the limelight the second time through to out and out lie to our coaching staff....

VOL!

He would add a few more points then Lane did because he's a top 10 JUCO...the 5.8 and 5.9 don't have anything to do with the calculation

If my boy said Ga, I could see me calling the coach and saying my boy will be playing for you but I am not happy about it - wish he would go to UT. But I still would be glad and proud of him, that he is going were he wishes. Just wishing he would have picked UT.

Confirmed it earlier... looks like Moore actually WILL be a Vol on Wednesday.

Wow, what a secondary this could shape up to be in 2-3 years.

... Ahem

If its from the same source that told you a few days ago we were out with Dawson and looking very good with Turene then miamicane can sleep easy tonight.

VOL!

Maybe that's why he left USC and went JUCO. He needed the high from the recruiting circus. He's addicted just as much as we are!

lol j/k (maybe)

I get what you are saying. That is a good point. No one really knows the extent of the unhappiness of the father. I was mainly just replyin back to the original poster about Moore's father.

I think it's safe to say if this is true that Loften is doneskies.

Unfortunately, as much as I would like to see Loften and the rest of these DB's make up the best secondary in the SEC I agree writing seems on the wall for Loften. As a fan from Texas this is really unfortunate for me I was really looking forward to this kid!

not to be a creep, but when B. Moore visited, he put a pic up of him in neyland with the other recruits, while they were standing on the T. His dad "liked" the facebook photo and commented saying he was very proud of him. So what gives.
