Um.... wtf? I put this thread on my mental back burner and just popped in to see what was going on with this kid.

You guys better not be trying to get my hopes up. Now when he announces Miami, I'm gonna have a heart attack that I already worked hard to avoid by ignoring him :(

Surprise? Everybody knows he's already a silent. Talking about Miami Cane, that is.

Agreed. However, if Gabe Wright wants to go to Auburn and his mother wants him to go to UT...

The answer is obvious. UT!!! The decision to become a Vol is the one that needs to be reached whether from parents or by the student athlete. I have a double standard and sleep soundly.

No. That's not what I'm saying. My opinion on that isn't a double standard. Like I said if you want your child to go to a certain school then that is fine. I know Gabe Wright's mother wants him to go to UT and that's fine. However I don't see her being unhappy with his decision if he picks Auburn. I'd be willing to bet she will be right by his side, smiling as he puts on his AU hat. I was just trying to say it's ok for these parents to have their favorites, but they should be proud of their child's decision regardless of where they choose to play.

Is Golden or anyone else on the Miami staff allowed another in home visit this week?

Confirmed it earlier... looks like Moore actually WILL be a Vol on Wednesday.

Wow, what a secondary this could shape up to be in 2-3 years.

Dad's a big Miami fan and wants his son to play for Miami. There's nothing wrong with that. I hope he ends up being a Vol, but I don't fault his Dad for one second.
The kid has been snakebit once by choosing a school for the wrong reasons, I think he has matured and will make his own decision but is considering what those around him are telling him. I really think he ends up a Vol but in the end whether it is Miami or UT he will be in a better situation than the one he left at SC.

It's per skeeter.

Agreed. But I haven't heard anything about him acting like a child. Someone speculated that the coaches THOUGHT dad MIGHT be unhappy. I follow hid dad on Twitter and I've only seen positive tweets. Maybe he's a jerk, but I choose to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I was going off of what Skeeter said. Skeeter said that Moore's father told Wilcox and the UT coaches that Moore would be a Vol, but that he was not happy about it. The fact that it was included that he was unhappy about the decision shows me that he was obviously showing or voicing his unhappiness about it. Which IMO is childish. But enough of Moore's father.

I guarantee you that delivery wasn't just matter of fact, if it existed at all.

This is mainly for thunder, or anyone who knows the Rivals point system, but if you add Lane and Moore to our commitment list, I would expect us to jump Cal and Nebraska putting us in the 15th spot, correct?

2-3 years? By the end of this year it could be a special group. Coleman, Martin and Randolph should be playing a lot by the end of the year.

Someone needs to tell the UM site bc they are standing behind his commit....his Father told their Mod that "he committed to UM but it was suppose to go public until later this week"

According to my spreadsheet...when Lane is figured into our score (which hasn't happened on their site yet) we will have 1498 points...which puts us ahead of both Cal and Nebraska (barely)....

Moore will likely put us in the upper 1500's which would leap frog us over Texas Tech and maybe UNC

Sounds like daddy is helping him build hype around his commitment and somebody's getting burned.

Or did I miss something getting cleared up?
