Honestly, all of you have major issues. :)

I was trying to log in so that I could watch the live feed, but there was so much online traffic that the site was moving slower than a sloth in a tar pit. And on top of that, all of you were chomping at the bit to reach through Cyberspace to strangle him because he was basking in the moment. What have I told you all about patience?

Of course, at the end of the day, this is an INCREDIBLE acquisition for Tennessee and Coach Dooley and staff! And to clear the air, I did make that call. Just saying. :hi:

Welcome to Rocky Top, Byron! Thrilled that you have decided to be a Vol For Life!!

:td: :fireworks:

some guy just said on the radio show "who wants to go to Tennessee?!".... then the guy said theyre gonna have all of vol nation huntin that guy down. and then they played rocky top. But long story short.... i would gladly kill that caller for saying that in front of bmoore

After watching his highlights I think we would do his best work at safety. He has so much range with his height and leaping ability. Also we could put him on an athletic TE and take him out of the game on passing down. He plays well in the box too. I really hope he plays safety for us even though he said he's playing CB. Janzen at CB would be a monster along with Brewer(who I expect to really improve) and Moore at the safety spots. The other CB is going to be a hot topic. I think Izzy could take it. And don't sleep on Coleman. This secondary will be a lot better than last years that's for sure.

I concur with this gentleman. Skeetdog said that while practicing at CB, JJ was shutting down Justin Hunter, despite giving up like 6 inches.

I can tell the few times he was in man in games he did a great job. Julio made a great catch over the middle on him. But the catch was a tough one with Jackson all over him. He, Moore, and Brewer will be big playmakers for us next season. I do need to see Brewer's ball skills though.

Yea, he's definitely got the ability to shadow. I've read comments from teammates where they just kinda gawk at how athletic he is.

Jackson has been great at safety, but IMO he doesn't/can't pack enough weight on his frame to play safety in the NFL. Gonna have to be a CB. Isn't his weight around 165 or so? I seem to remember Rucker saying that during the season. Bob Sanders would be the NFL exception to the rule, but he's heavier/stockier than JJ. Even EB is borderline undersized. Long story short, I think the staff will make every effort to get JJ to CB.
