They entered the portal but currently don’t have any eligibility, just like Gainey or Zeigler don’t have eligibility, Dubar entered the portal but has no eligibility. It’s on the hope that eventually a 5th year gets passed, but there’s no special exception for grad transfers or anything anymore, so right now neither guy you mentioned would be eligible to play next season.

If Fland goes to Florida they jump from 21st to 10th on Bart Torvik. Hopefully we are looking to land one more scoring guard to put us above Arkansas, Florida, and Kentucky. It is crazy the lack of activity for Alabama and Auburn.

I don’t know who Todd is referencing. I didn’t get information on Massamba or Abram until after he shared it. I was traveling that week and wasn’t asking a lot, but I assume he has different access than mine. Things are tighter in information after we lost Rice. Last week I heard we were in talks with someone “with a strong relationship to a new addition”. I asked if the “new addition” is Morgan or a player, but haven’t gotten a response. Morgan is very tight with Memphis High School coaches and many Memphis current players. Hardaway is losing booster support. Might be a factor, but not sure how that fits with being relevant to next season. He also knows international players very well. Obviously Ament has many friends in the 25/26 classes. That’s probably medium useless information as I’m not sure the player I heard about is the same as Todd’s find. I never heard that something might “go down” last week or this weekend. It was always next week. I probably won’t get further information until it’s done, but will share as soon as I hear.
