Watching with friends from Oak Ridge, TN. Big Ed's pizza and the chicken tender things from food city haha. Also, I'm attempting to drink the yeehaw dark mode beer again. Brought zero luck against Bama but the cans are black and our jerseys are this week so who knows?
Handed out candy tonight. Will start decorating for Christmas November 1st! If anyone is near Norris, TN, feel free to stop by and help 😃

We skipped handing out candy this year. Our neighborhood gets SLAMMED on Halloween. Typically I enjoy it. Last year we had over 600 kids, maybe 700. We handed out everything we bought to give out. Then we went through kids candy and gave out what they didnt want. Then we had to DIG in the pantry and handed out some granola bars and I think even some craisins and apple sauce cups, lol. After 8 years of an ever increasing amount of trick or treaters we just needed a break. My son went with a bunch of his buddies and trick or treated in another neighborhood. We visited my parents and enjoyed some homeade chili. My daughter was satisfied doing some trunk or treats throughout the week and trick or treating at a few houses tonight. After the 4th house, she literally looked at me and said "OK, Im good". I just laughed and asked if she was sure. She said she was so I was like OK, that was easy.

Next year we'll be back at it, but taking a break was nice.

I was born a Butterfinger whore, and I'll die a Butterfinger whore. I don't know what it is about that weird roasted peanut coating on the interior but it is sinister and delicious. Special mention for Kit Kats and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, who are both strong competitors as well. Also while not a "Halloween candy," the new dark chocolate MnMs, the ones in the purple bags what which have peanut centers, are a breath of fresh air for MnMs in general.

As for what I'm watching, it's me - playing a game called Megabonk. Because I need to bonk. Though I have been watching a lot of people stream the new game ARC Raiders, and it's probably only a matter of time until I pick that one up.
Yo bro have you tried the new chocolate payday? it's my new favorite. They Baby ruth better than Baby Ruth. and its bigger ...

our friends had a little party and cooked everyone chicken and carnitas tacos with some killer chips and queso. Then we all took our toddlers trick or treating in their neighborhood. We had a mini zoo in tow (lion, giraffe and cheetah), a one year old Incredible Hulk, and a two year old with a freshly broken arm who was too banged up to dress up and just got pulled in the wagon collecting candy all night. Reese’s cup is my favorite (love a chocolate- peanut butter combo but let’s be honest…it’s the big orange wrapper that does it for me).

Making homemade pizzas on the pizza steel tomorrow night and getting cozy on the couch to watch the Vols wax the Sooners and keep our playoff hopes alive. Go Vols!!!

I recall 2009, when I took my youngest out to trick-or-treat on the night we played South Carolina. We're in Oregon, so it was surprising when one door opened and a guy in Vols gear appeared with our game on his TV in the background. We said "Go Vols!" and I inquired as to the score. Another cool reminder that we are everywhere.

Friends had their Halloween Hog Roast...they only do it when Halloween falls on a Friday or Saturday, so it's special.

Food was out of this world amazing!!!
They sent enough leftovers home that we are having pulled pork sandwiches for game time.

Goimg to take it easy all day tomorrow...the missus and I have both had some kind of cold bug this week. So its rest, catch a game or maybe a nap, then settle in to watch our men take another step towards the playoff...GO VOLS!!!
