You know the drill. I want to know who's going to the game this weekend. Who's driving in from out of town? Who's tailgating?

For those not going to the game, where are you watching and what's on the menu?

What other college games are you most looking forward to this weekend?

And most importantly, who's going trick-or-treating or to a Halloween party? Who decorated their house? Who's handing out candy? And lastly, and this one is essential: what's your favorite Halloween candy?

Go Vols!

I just switched the porch light on and am awaiting my first trick or treater. I love Halloween! I decorate every year. Got the 12 ft skelly and a dozen or so smaller
Ones. Have the jellyfish lights. And yeah, I give out the full sized bars. I have an assortment of skittles for my nut friendly kids as well as m&ms, Twix, snickers, Reese’s, and Hershey stuff. Got airplane bottles for the parents.

The husband is trying to get fubo going since we have YouTubetv. What a mess.

The girls have a swim meet tomorrow morning, so we will all be in bed by 10, but happy Halloween and go Vols!

Thank you, Mr. Poobah!!

I had a late lunch with Dad and my aunt. We all gathered at my grandfather‘s house. Enjoyed a quick meal at his kitchen table. He passed a couple of years ago, but we still spend a lot of time there. I was volunteered to do a little electrical work so my aunt would be able to see to get in and out of the house with the new lighting on the porch. I don’t think she would do well with a tuck and roll if she tripped. That would seriously curtail any cobbler making efforts on her part. She’s perfected cornbread too. I would invite everybody over, but I just can’t share the cornbread. Maybe some of the cobbler.

Don’t forget to love your old people because they are not not gonna be here forever. Amen.

Go Vols!!

Reassembling the house after interior paint, incorporating a little more orange into the home office.

Enjoying a couple old fashioned cocktails while fending off trick or treaters!

100 Grand bars + candy corn keeps Jack from being a dull boy!

Liked for 100 Grand Bars. Excellent choice.

I was born a Butterfinger whore, and I'll die a Butterfinger whore. I don't know what it is about that weird roasted peanut coating on the interior but it is sinister and delicious. Special mention for Kit Kats and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, who are both strong competitors as well. Also while not a "Halloween candy," the new dark chocolate MnMs, the ones in the purple bags what which have peanut centers, are a breath of fresh air for MnMs in general.

As for what I'm watching, it's me - playing a game called Megabonk. Because I need to bonk. Though I have been watching a lot of people stream the new game ARC Raiders, and it's probably only a matter of time until I pick that one up.

In Pigeon Forge for a baseball tournament. Currently in a quiet little cabin up on the mountain, just finished grilling a steak and my beautiful wife is making s’mores.
We should be done tomorrow in plenty of time for the game, and I believe I have found a workaround for the YouTube mess. If not, I’ll have the Vol Network on and will sit on the porch on this beautiful mountain and listen to the Big Orange. Very thankful

There's something geological about that lithified carmelized crunch.

In my continuing (and mostly unsuccessful) pursuit of affordable, decent quality steak, I grilled some USDA Choice tri-tip tonight that was actually surprisingly good. Seven bucks a pound. Out here in Oregon that's practically a miracle.
