Hiring Steele as head coach would be an absolute nightmare...The guy is 9-36 as a head coach...We don't need another defensive minded head coach...We need a brilliant offensive minded coach who will get everybody excited again...This is nothing more than a UT beatdown on the fans.

All of this has been crazy. I’ve never seen this much turnover with players and coaches unless someone is getting fired.

couldn't agree more. UTAD better get on with the hog killin' one way or the other. Not that UTAD needs help looking further incompetent, but this isn't helping.

He isn’t dangling in the wind except in our imaginations. An AD isn’t going to comment on a fictitious story created by fans. It reminds me of when many on here clamored for a statement from Gruden as if there was anything to comment on

What exactly is the end game here in bringing him back? Does the Administration really think he is going to turn it around next year? If by a miracle he does have some success, he isn't going to stay here past next year after we've put him through all of this.

Heard Trey Wallace say something to the effect of this on the Drive today:

1. Why would Henry T. and family be wavering and saying he committed to Pruitt and threatening to enter the transfer portal if Jeremy Pruitt's job is safe? Everything would status quo and no flights to California would be needed.

2. Why is Kevin Steele on that flight but not Henry's primary recruiter and position coach?

Interesting thoughts.

So TN is going to pay for all the coaches to fly out to tell Henry T hey I’m fired come play for me wherever or I’m safe 😏

That Simon guy was on the flight and instrumental in getting him to UT and Neids is obviously being fired, hence why he wasn’t there. Or is there someone else who also was instrumental in getting him?

In some odd way it might always be to keep Pruitt from recruiting him to Bama if he goes back

Henry T was on the team this year. They only won 3 games. I understand that his loss would be hard, but with him here or not Next year will be for nothing.

He’s hiring people and out meeting with players right now. My guess is that fulmer has absolutely assured him behind closed doors he’s coming back. The question is does fulmer have enough support in that building to give him those assurances. I personally would rather see fulmer go before Pruitt. We don’t want fulmer anywhere near another coaching hire. He literally said he’s looking for a defense first head coach that plays old school football. Raise your hand if you’re surprised we haven’t been successful. That’s how freaking out of touch with things fulmer is. In this day and age the game is all about offense. Think about an elderly family member in the mid 70’s. Now image then being pulled out of retirement and named ceo of a billion dollar company.
