Because of conference seeding rules it’s likely that the 3 and 4 seeds in each region would change if UT was moved from the West to the South. So they may end up in the South with the same 3 and 4 except now you have Houston waiting on you instead of Arizona.

I thought they completely suspended retiring jerseys a few years back. When was the last jersey retirement in any sport?

Actually it just say John Wooden all-American but the Wooden award does not delineate 1sr or 2nd team so every named is considered 1st team.

Per UT’s own media guide he is listed as being a first team all-American, so if those requirements are still in place he qualifies.
