I'm not really sure what that means, but I've actually been very positive on Dooley up until recently. UF and UGA have absolutely killed us with simple run plays to the edge. I really don't see why it will suddenly be different vs MSU. I hope I'm wrong, but I think I'm just being realistic.

I think MSU will beat us. We can't stop plays on the edge. MSU will run that all day and we won't be able to stop it.

Didn't Steele recently predict we'd win 10 games? If so then I'd guess he think we're one of the top ten teams in the SEC.

I think Chaney is leaving. Anytime there has been even the least bit of smoke about an assistant coach leaving this offseason they have eventually left.

This is actually a pretty interesting rumor. It looks like Dooley and Tucker were both on the same staff for one year under Saban while at LSU, so there is a history there. If Tucker doesn't get an NFL job then he may consider us.

The Inside Tennessee article said that he's coming in this December. I thought he wasn't coming in till 2013? Smith said he intends to enroll at Tennessee "no later than December," adding: "I plan to be there at mid-semester." If so, he'll be eligible to participate in spring practice.
