BOOK IT gentleman. October 13th against MSU. Barring some crazy event where they would lose to Kentucky this weekend, we will be there the following weekend to take them down. They haven't been tested yet, but you better believe we are going to give them everything we've got. Let's get a good solid couple of weeks of work in and go shake things up in Starkville!!!

THEN...we're taking it to Alabama!!

This is the SEC, you have a chance every week to prove yourself.

I think they will beat MSU too, not bamma

I'm not going to say we will beat Bama, but I do believe we will take just as much fight to them as we did against Georgia. I hope are bending over for the opponent days are over.

I think MSU will beat us. We can't stop plays on the edge. MSU will run that all day and we won't be able to stop it.

Your lack of posts on here is a reflection of this.
** we will stomp Miss state. that's the end of today's lesson. Class dismissed.

I'm not really sure what that means, but I've actually been very positive on Dooley up until recently. UF and UGA have absolutely killed us with simple run plays to the edge. I really don't see why it will suddenly be different vs MSU. I hope I'm wrong, but I think I'm just being realistic.

As I mentioned last week, this will be a weekly "this is the week" BS. If this team flops Vs MSU, we will see the "Vols to shock the world thread for Bama". When Bama trucks us by 42, it will be "Dooley will take it to the cocks" the following week. Lots of hope, just not alot of results with this coaching staff.

Lol these threads are just as bad as the fire CDD threads. MSU is a ranked opponent with a lot of experience and talent. You guys make the same arguments about ranked teams not being tested and how we going to show them. Same story a different weak. How about we say you know what they are a good team and we are also a good team with a lot of talent. We continue to discredit teams ability which has led us to being upset on saturday

I have a hard time thinking we will flop against MSU after how we played this Saturday. You do what you gotta do as a Vol fan to get through the season. If we lose to Bama (probably) then just keep going. That's all you can do.

"Dooley will take it to the cocks..." Better than the other way around, I suppose.

What player on MSUs offense really concerns you? We have seen the read option gash us against Florida, because we hadn't seen it from them this year nor had any other team. Sunseri will make the adjustments needed as we have 2 weeks to watch film and develop schemes. It's simple assignment football and our boys showed that they are hungry. We will go into Starkville and take the game, their pride and will start our road to getting back to a powerhouse caliber program. Book it!

We should beat them. But beating them is no accomplishment. If this is Dooleys only "signature" win he still needs to be fired.

You are being realistic. MSU will bring a very physical run game and we've not shown we can contain a good rushing team.

BOOK IT gentlemen, We will beat Florida this season. They have not been tested yet and Muschamp is a weak coach. Also, they are missing two of their best defensive players. Also, we are at home. In addition to that, Florida has no answer to Hunter & Patterson at the same time.
This Florida game is ours. The streak ends!!!!!

Do you remember a similar posting prior to the Florida game???
Even with all of our confidence, we still lost to Florida.
The truth of the matter is that we will have (2) S.E.C. wins this season. (1) Vandy and (2) Kentucky.

We will lose to M.S.U.,,Alabama, Missouri and USC.

Our final record for this season will be 6 - 6 and a bowl appearance. Should we lose that game, we will be 6 - 7 for the season, which qualifies as another losing season.

Is MSU going to spot us three easy touchdowns with turnovers?

Spot us? The defense created those turnovers.. Sure they had an awful game defending Georgia's tough, balanced play action attack, but don't insinuate that our D was just " given" the ball:no:
