1) AJ Johnson is being recruited as a MLB. Doesn't mean he won't move to OLB or DE but for now he's being recruited for the inside.
2) Dawson is being recruited as either a SAM or Mike - meaning Strong side OLB or MLB.
3) We are not moving to a base 4-2-5 but Dooley and Wilcox have both said...
Actually we need a full roster first, which is why you fill your class with good prospects that you are confident will still be here in 3 years and won't leave/be kicked off/transfer. You address the depth needs first. Plus, hiring an elite recruiter can only do so much. You also have to be able...
He made a few bad decisions tonight, but the second half performance is not his fault. No run game, terrible pass protection makes it difficult. Regardless he's still put up decent numbers.
So let's look at what ol Clay had to say (didn't mean for that to rhyme).
Tennessee freshman Tyler Bray throws for five touchdowns and 300 yards in the first half vs. Memphis.
This is fact. No disputing it.
The Vols went on to win 50-14, scoring 50 unanswered in the process. If you're a...
Wait what? In the UAB game the problem was that we only had 10 men on the field. Unless they've changed the rules in the past couple of days, I'm pretty sure that's allowed...albeit not that smart. So that wouldn't have cost us the game.
Very difficult for the secondary to be successful unless you get pressure on the QB. If he has time to throw he will find an open receiver.
Our secondary is fine, but the pass rush is what needs to improve.
I continue to hear these stories about Bray's lack of maturity. What I've gathered is that Bray likes to party and possible smoke the funny stuff?
I'm not sure where these are coming from or if they are true. But is there anything else that is leading people to these conclusions? Not that, if...
Absolutely absurd to even attempt and make that decision at this point. We have seen Simms play in 1 game against a meaningless opponent. Why don't we let them get several games under their belts first.
I think the main thing is a playbook issue. Hunter is a very quick study and has picked up on the playbook very well. Da'Rick not as much. Not to say he won't play some sort of role but he still has a bit to go on the learning part.
He'll get there.
