Coal is very important for the economy of the US as well. There are hard working families that have been forced into depending on government hand outs to feed their children thanks to environmental policies, which for the reasons I mentioned in my previous post, will have no long term positive...
I don't know enough about the science to come to an educated conclusion about climate change, but I can definitively say that unless you find a way to change the behavior of billions of people in China and India, nothing the US or Europe do to "combat climate change" will make any difference at...
No, I think we lose to Bama, Ole Miss, UGA, and probably USC, but I don't think any of those, save Bama, are automatic loses. I think we beat UF, Chattanooga, UK, Mizzou, and Vandy to finish 7-5. An upset on the road could get us to 8 wins.
ESPN now has us favored to win against Mizzou, so we just have to win the ones where we are favored, that being said I think we also beat Florida and I'm not writing off UGA, Ole Miss, or USC either. I think we win 7 or 8 this year before the bowl.
I think OU is a better team than Auburn, and Auburn crushed Arkansas. They have dominated against inferior competition and so have we. I think our defense can stop their run game and I believe we win on a neutral field. It's close, but I give Tennessee a slight edge based on what we have seen so...
Assuming all games are played on a neutral field, I see it like this:
1. Alabama
2. Texas A&M
3. MISS ST
4. AUBURN
5. OLE MISS
6. UGA
7. LSU
8. TENNESSEE
9. ARKANSAS
10. USC
11. KENTUCKY
12. FLORIDA
13. MIZZOU
14. VANDY
It's hard to take any ranking seriously that puts Mizzou or Florida ahead of Tennessee. I can accept that we don't know what we have with the Vols, but we definitely didn't get beat at home by Indiana nor did we go to overtime against UK. If Tennessee had performed like either of those teams...
Because Tennessee's fan base is so strong and our fans travel so well, a 6-6 UT team will definitely be bowling. A perfect example of the fan impact was our 2009 season where a 7 win team played on New Years Day.
