He has that natural ability to explode on the ball carrier in the last 3 to 4 feet before contact. You can't usually teach that. NASTY NASTY HITTER. I love it!
Simm's is a serviceable QB but his limitations are in his instincts and his head. He does not feel pressure, overreacts when pressure comes, has limited pocket presence, repeatedly makes bad throws in critical situations(three or more int. in the red zone) and then doesn't realize what his short...
These two announcers were not prepared and made mistake after mistake on player names and what was happening on the field. That comes from a lack of research and preparation which is the very definition of a non-professional.
Farrell has a dog in the fight given the fact that recruiting rankings are his and others stock and trade. If a coach builds a class without a lot of *'s they have no choice but to trash it because any success without the 'proper number of *'s' is a threat to their existence. The previous...
Immaturity in this case is the fact that
A. He still has not adjusted to the speed of the game
B. He is not as dedicated to the off field requirements of being a SEC QB. Study, film and extra work with the receivers.
C. He is still physically vulnerable at this level in part due to the Oline...
I agree with all of your points with the exception of Matt Simms and possibly the speed issue. Speed can come with experience and stamina. Were we as fast as Oregon across the board. No. As for Simms I have not been a bash Matt Simms poster and am still not. However, what I saw was a coaching...

You don't have to wait. I am from his hometown and he is a stud. He is a fast, powerful, one cut and go runner. He can punish you or outrun you and that is against great competition. Just look at the guys who have come out of his high school, Calvin Johnson, Kedrick Golston, Brent Brewer. The...
I've been on VQ and this site and you are the only one who thinks he was over matched. I thought you were trolling but maybe you just didn't see what every one else saw.
Some on TOS posted that Rivals is already re-evaluating him. Some difficulty in evaluating him originally since he was in Hawaii. Word is he is a definite 3* re-eval and could go to four after his senior year.
Al Wilson hands down but I have seen no one say Reggie White. He had a different type of intensity that wasn't as obvious. He would absolutely maul a guy or guys and then act like they were a long lost friend. To me that is intense and intimidating.
