It starts with the leadership at the top, i.e. all of those high priced coaches you have should be doing their job. Tennessee has talent, maybe not as much as in the past, but they have talent. There is no reason a top teired SEC team should struggle with teams like Ohio. Maybe Crompton can not...

Isn't Tennessee just 2 years removed from playing for the SEC championship? Your coaches and players could not have been too bad.

I will say if UT does not beat Auburn in Tennessee this weekend, their new coaching staff is no better than last years coaching staff (performance wise). With that said, I believe the Vols will run the ball down their throat to a close win.

There is alot of talk about how bad Crompton is and I agree that coaches have lost confidence in him, but when he came out of high school, Rivals had him as a 4 Star and Scout had him as a 5 Star only behind Marc Sanchez and Ryan Perrilioux. Sometimes all those stars just do not pan out.

We were desperate. He is a major upgrade from what we had last year. Hopefully he has learned his lesson.
