Jr and Sr year statistics

Ryan Karl - 11 PBU's and 1 pick
Al Wilson - 6 PBU's and 1 pick
Kevin Burnett - 4 PBU's and 1 pick
Jerod Mayo - 3 PBU's and 1 pick

I know these stats don't tell the whole story, but Ryan Karl was a great pass defender.

Fair point.

At the same time, Wilson and Mayo both played different positions, and I think that Burnett played the other side as well. Wilson was a beast in coverage, as was Mayo.

Kevin Burnett was light years better than Karl in pass coverage.

Nevin McKenzie and Adam Myers-White were a lot better than him too.

Karl did break Andre Caldwell's leg on a kickoff return. That was one of his best plays in orange.

Omar Gaither was also better than Karl.
