He was already behind in some stats and now has one less game than others (Bennett, Stroud) as I think ballots are due in Monday after conference championships. If we score 50+ on the next three opponents he may still have a shot, which we very well could do.
Definitely a debate to be had but I think Tennessee beats out a one loss Oregon based on our resume. In my opinion, it's why the #1 ranking in this years first CFP was so important
Assuming we win out without a close scare, I believe that in order to get bumped from the playoff, all three of the following would have to happen:
TCU wins out as undefeated B12 champ
Oregon wins out as 1-loss P12 champ
OSU/UM is a one possession game
If just ONE of the three things above...
Mizzou was pretty successful bringing the house on them every play and getting to Bennett.
