The bigger question is will the players quit on Butch? Most of them quit on Doofus. It's hard to keep buying in when you play your butts off and the coaches sabotage your efforts. Not only do the fans know that we should be 4-0, but the players know it too.

Hardly ever post but Cedric Wilson and Gerald Jones were also high school qbs who made the switch and worked out well.

I know that Todd Kelly and James Berry would both love their sons to be Vols. Would they allow their boys to play for Dooley though? I wonder how these former stars feel about him. Would they steer their sons to a different program because of him?

There are/have been plenty of first and second year coaches around the country who are having success. Why do we keep saying that Dooley needs more time? There is plenty of talent on this team. The issue is coaching. It always has been coaching. Dooley was a desperate hire at a desperate time.

In one of those games (I think it was the title game), Cadillac, though he was getting all the media attention, was overshadowed by Ronnie Brown. I remember Ronnie Brown looked like Herschel Walker running over our defense. He was nasty and I always thought he was actually the better back.

No worries, Hampton has a spot opening for him as we speak.

I haven't seen anyone mention Brimfield or Carson Anderson on the OL. What's going on with these 2 guys?
