For those that didn't come...Pittsburgh to East Tenn really is an easy drive. I drive to Knoxville frequently 7 to 7.5 hours....barring construction or accident, the only traffic is Pittsburgh&Knoxville, nothing in between. And the drive through Western VA and WV is a breeze, can also speed...
We get to play this game with PSU, WVU, etc. all the time and the reality is you never really know, even close approximation, how many visiting fans show up. But you do know both sides will guess wildly wrong. Let's say there is actually 11k TENN fans there...Pitt fans will say it was about...
fake news! LB Brandon George, who missed the WVU game, is a difference maker. Especially given that some of WVU's huge runs were due to LBs being out position and taking poor angles. George is a veteran who knows his assignments and is a strong tackler.

We played against Hooker twice while he was at VT, so Pitt fans are very familiar with who he is. I was glad when he left VT because you could see there was really good upside there, that wasn't realized at VT. Just our luck at he ends up at TENN. He's a fine a enough passer, but really drives...
I am not sure what tickets you got, but to enter the Pitt student section, you need to show your Pitt student ID. Or have a "buddy pass" and be with someone with a Pitt student ID.

There will be scalpers in the street a few blocks from the stadium (they are only allowed so close), but the use of e-tickets has hurt their business. I think if you monitor the online sites prices will drop at some point, this game won't be a sellout. Which is sad. Not really a commentary on...
supposedly one of the two bottles will be left somewhere inside/outside Acrisure, standing straight up, as a "photo opp" type thing. i did not notice it at the WVU game last week, but wasn't really looking for it either. it may or may not be there Saturday.
