I agree. I feel this team would have won SEC and made final four if they had Russell, Izzy, Jones, Tucker all healthy. SC's bigs, Gonzaga's bigs, and Maryland's bigs were more than Graves and Burdick could post up with.

You don't fire a coach would won 30 games, co-season champs, played in SEC championship game and went to Elite 8.

I just can't take the disappointment anymore during the biggest games. The last few years have gotten the best of me. I certainly hope they win, but don't enjoy watching them lose big gmes so I just don't watch.

When you watch a replay of the Championship game it is so evident that UT does not have the level of talent that SC has. The players know it too because it shows in their body language and the way they played.

I'm not a coach or player, only a fan and an observer. I watched the Lady Vols play every SEC Tournament game this week except the championship game vs SC. Why? I had no confidence they would play well in the championship. Recent history supports that. The Lady Vols have not been the same...

With the talent and size gap between SC and the rest of the conference, the Vols just were not able to compete inside today without Harrison, Russell & Graves. Making it to the Final Four takes good luck injury wise as well as talent, size, coaching and effort.

I agree with your first two points, but what are you basing your future expectations on? This is a senior team and UT is not burning the recruiting trail up.

Based on my observation of Pat's last three years, she would not have won the ND game either. IMO Holly needs to keep what Pat did well and learn what it takes to beat today's best women' college basketball team. ND, Stanford and Conn have already gone there.

I don't think Holly is doing more than an average job based on the talent and university she has. However, maybe she will learn and get better at her job. I think she will win enough games to keep it.

And this is the best team we will see for a while. This is the team that I thought would be a final four team, but I don't see it now and looking at the bench doesn't give me hope for the future.

I agree. Coaching is the main problem with the Lady Vols. You can see it in every phase of the game.

Im sorry but Holly Warlick is not a top ten coach. Her players are. They just need a coach. All Holly knows is defense and her team didn't play good defense consistently. Holly's down fall is she doesn't know how to get her players to play offense and defense.The give and go is not in her...

I think MO was just older and more physical. However, UT's talent and determination keep us in the game.

I strongly agree that stability is critical at UT. CBJ has his system and with time he is smart and motivated enough to tweak his system. With stability, he can continue to recruit great talent and good things are bound to happen.

CBJ et al have shown they can recruit. In my mind, they still need to show that they are better than average as coaches.
