You can say what you want about Golden but the guy is a hell of a coach. He out adjusted and out coached some ridiculously good coaches down the stretch of so many games in this tournament.

Tennessee never had the offense on a game to game basis to be a serious title contender unfortunately. If the defense is even a little bit off, it shows.

Alabama is mediocre against any team that plays a semblance of defense that can also score right there with them. See both Florida games this season. I suspect if Duke wins tonight they win rather comfortably against them.

Florida is 33-4, won the SEC Tournament and would have won the SEC regular season without that weird Georgia game that they nearly came back and won after being down 26, lol. 6-2 against all other SEC teams still in the tournament as well. It might be time to admit they’re just really good. Lol.

Maryland is a very good team and probably the best 4 seed in the tournament, but Florida is elite when they aren’t killing themselves with turnovers, just ask Alabama who Florida handled easily twice this season. Also all the distractions with their coach probably isn’t helping.

Yep. Alabama looks great against teams that are subpar defensively, but if you play even a little bit of D on them, they are in trouble. Duke isn’t BYU, lol.

Alabama is a team that can look unbeatable on certain nights but if they play a team that can score right there with them that also plays a semblance of defense, ala Florida twice this year, they are imminently beatable.

That was about as poorly a game UF could play and they still won. Have to think winning against that program with that pedigree will serve them well later on.

I’m not so sure. Florida looks like they’re panicking and jacking some truly terrible shots.

The NCAA really screwed Florida over with this 2nd round matchup. I don’t care what UCONN’s record is, at the end of the day they’re still UCONN. Any other team and Florida sails into the Sweet 16 but this Husky program has had their number ever since the 2014 Final Four.

Florida extremely sloppy with the ball early. They could/should be up so much more with how poorly UCONN has shot it.
