Really, if you think about it, this no different than losing a player for the year with an injury. Someone just has to step up.
And, we freed up some money for the portal.
Josh H. Came into this job with a worse situation and I believe he can make chicken salad.
Yes, but Nico isn’t and wasn’t the only one asking for and getting more money than they originally agreed to. If you start negotiating contracts, this is going to happen.
I’m happy that Heup didn’t capitulate to Nico’s demands but there was always going to be a renegotiation of his contract...
I think that it may come out that Nico may have been the reason we didn’t and couldn’t bring in some higher rated wr’s. With Nico, the money just wasn’t there.
No matter how he played last year, he went 10-2 as a starter. And, the talent is there. He should receive market value. I don’t like it either but this is where things are heading.
What are the demands? I just can’t see us moving on unless the demands are ridiculous. I think he deserves market value because other QB’s are doing the same thing.
Irreconcilable differences, will be on the divorce papers..?
Don’t say anything about Nico, he’s the only one that actually came to play. He has to have some f’n help. Guys blocking, getting open and catching the damn ball would’ve helped.
We started the game flat and we finished the game flat. We went into the locker room with momentum and someone farted and killed it. If you can’t get your guys up to play a game, you’ve got a problem.
