Yes, but Nico isn’t and wasn’t the only one asking for and getting more money than they originally agreed to. If you start negotiating contracts, this is going to happen. I’m happy that Heup didn’t capitulate to Nico’s demands but there was always going to be a renegotiation of his contract...

I think that it may come out that Nico may have been the reason we didn’t and couldn’t bring in some higher rated wr’s. With Nico, the money just wasn’t there.

Compared to the money that nonstarters were getting. He was getting way under market value. I’m just like some others on here, he overplayed his hand.

No matter how he played last year, he went 10-2 as a starter. And, the talent is there. He should receive market value. I don’t like it either but this is where things are heading.

Don’t say anything about Nico, he’s the only one that actually came to play. He has to have some f’n help. Guys blocking, getting open and catching the damn ball would’ve helped.

We started the game flat and we finished the game flat. We went into the locker room with momentum and someone farted and killed it. If you can’t get your guys up to play a game, you’ve got a problem.

I haven’t said anything about the coaching or the play all year but this is embarrassing.
