Exactly! Les is 64 yrs old has coached a hell of a lot of sec football and has been ther done that and made mistakes that he has no doubt learned from. Bring in great coordinators and direct traffic...keep it simple.

Not sure this is entirely a fair assessment. Was it Butch’s system when DeBord averaged 37 points and 440 yards a game? The point is that the plays are there. Not buying the 5 play theory. You may have fewer plays at your disposal because of team talent and level of knowledge at a young QB1...

True and Florida will only be better next year. Neyland has become a great venue for the sec to come in, feel right at home, have a good time and leave completely satisfied with a victory over the host team. Even at 114 decibels they can feel relaxed and play with confidence knowing the home...

What point is that exactly? That "he wins everywhere he goes"? what exactly has he won? What great teams has he beaten? What ranked teams? Mediocrity, nothing more.

This is my point. It's what brought Fulmer down and will be Butch's undoing as well if changes in philosophy aren't made. He will get uT back to basically where Fulmer left off. He recruits well and gets teams back to 3 or 4 losses each year and then maybe he moves on when things heat...

Different conference, different level of competition, never finished in top 20, is 1 and 16 against ranked teams, etc... You've seen the stats. I guess we have different expectations and ideas on what the next level means.

Is there anything Butch's past that would indicate he will get UT to the next level? He reqruuts well, got it...he talks a good game...got it...he seems to be a fan of the good ole boy system in some of his hiring... Hmmm sounds like another coach we had several years ago. Good recruiting...
