Couldn't of said it better. As of now there are no top tier coaches out there, some good ones but not top shelf. Chances are eight the revolving door we are installing it would have to be a perfect storm to get a proven coach to come here.
If it's true be prepared to have more Dooley like years rebuilding again. The class coming in is the best class in Jones tenure, and without a sure thing hire they will be gone. Did I mention there's not a sure thing hire out there?
Firing coaches mid season makes it harder to hire the next coach if you ask me. I'd say if there's a move made at least wait until the seasons over and have the next man lined up before hand.
I'll agree with most all of this except the part about the 3 month interview process. When Jones is let go the next man better have signed the paperwork or at least setting at the desk ready to sign. If the hiring process gets drug out it kills recruiting.
