Perfect Pass Dropped

I talk to my nephew he was devastated...i just told him to keep his head up..i just wish they would line him up on the outside because he is no slot wr..i just want him to play his natural position..

He gave a great effort and did his best and yes, it is hard to take. But like a homer in baseball, the pitcher has to forget it and move on. Glad he is having a hard time BECAUSE it means he is a competitor and wants to win and he cares. Tomorrow, go back to work and get better. Appreciate him as a VOL.

Game should not have come down to this. I think the coaching staff should stop bringing whippets to the planning meetings as it's starting to show on the field.

No one is hard on him. Drops happen. It was a drop on a bullet and he’s still a good WR

It can be both

Feeling all that pressure has to suck. Tell him to keep his head up and we still have his back. Shouldn’t have come down to that play anyways.

I don't remember the last time UT had receivers that could catch the ball in traffic on a consistent basis. No eye-fundamentals I suppose.

I was pretty close to that corner. Really tight window and it was a fastball. Not exactly what I'd call a drop, but it was catchable

That sir, is certainly a drop. It shouldn't have come down to that though.

Watch the play again. It was a good call. JG should have thrown it 1-2 seconds sooner when the receiver had separation. But when you dont open the play book until there is 1 minute left, then this is what you are left with and you live and die by it. When you coach not to lose, you seal your own fate.

Drop the catch but got the answer correct on the math problem Butch was yelling in from the sidelines.

Hit him dead in the hands.

The defensive player mad a great play on the ball and knicker it out of his hands. Receivers are taught to pull the ball into the body , but the ball was knocked away before he could do it. The play was well executed but it was great position by the defender.
