Not to breakdown the game too much on this thread but the only thing that really scares me is TOs. That is what can get you beat & I have seen it too many times. I LOVE our chances IF we take care of the ball and don't have breakdowns on STs like in the past.

I understand them feeling confident but it's not like they were any good last year. They have recruited speed & depth but they haven't put it together just yet. TN couldn't even run Dime Defense last year. Had no depth on OL or DL. It's a new year. Got to give Dooley credit for addressing...

In case you couldn't tell from my name I hate their board. I use to post on there all the time but got banned for no good reason other than posting facts. That stated, their fans are the most obnoxious fans in the country. I look on there and they wouldn't trade Brantley or their WRs both...

The problem with Pennington is he is a UT fan but wants so badly to be a "respected writer" He mostly points out negative stuff. I can see right through him and others.....

I think he will be good. You have to give him a chance if you are a fan. Everyone I talk to that knows more about him really respects him.

I 100% agree with that. That is why I don't get annoyed when we only sign a 3* player. We got a 4* LB that couldn't get on the field and the lower ranked guy played a lot. You don't know until they get on the field. Still excited about the potential of this class.

The most important thing is filling needs. We have at DB, LB, OL, Got a great DT if we can get one more it would be great.

Google is your friend. ESPN has him as a 4* but most have him as a 3* so I guess he isn't good enough.:olol: We may play the Dime package this year.

Oku was a 4* ranked #1 all purpose back and he would be 4th team if he came back. Get over the star system people. I don't remember us winning any championships since 1998 when we had the STARS
