It's "push the ball down the field" like Dooley, Butch, and Pruitt or "take what the defense gives you " like Cutcliffe. Saying "push the ball down the field" tells the QB to force the ball into coverage.
Wait til the actual announcement to buy tickets. Bowls seem to do this every year trying to cheat Tennessee fans out of their money. Chances are very slim we'll play in the Music City bowl.
We're gonna see a ton of no huddle, quick snap all season if Pruitt doesn't make an adjustment. We might make every team look like Oklahoma. We are getting punched in the mouth staring at the sideline.
The new information would have had to come out between the time Sean McDonough talked to Pruitt this morning and when he was dismissed in the afternoon. It seems doubtful, but it may be true.
.
Pruitt is running the defense. Our players clearly don’t know what to do, anymore than they did against West Virginia. The entire team appeared not to know what direction to go. Missed assignments, wrong routes, etc, etc, etc.
The offensive linemen didn’t know who to block, the receivers ran the wrong routes. On defense nobody appeared to know who to cover or where to be. It took us til week 6 last year before our players knew what direction to go. BYU and Florida are going to brutalize us. Chattanooga is a toss-up.
Pruitt got angry at the team after they enjoyed playing the Kentucky game.
After that, the team laid down and died. Three straight games where the team
took it and did not fight back. This team could use Sheriron Jones and Marquille
Osborne.
The Mormons are not coming to fight. Do not fight the Mormons. I can't believe this article was even published. Opposing fans usually enjoy Neyland even when they lose.
As I said earlier, JG is a statue who holds on to the ball too long. The only way BYU beats us is by knocking him out of the game early. It may be irrational, but I have a fear of him lying motionless under a giant Samoan.
JG is a statue who holds on to the ball too long. If BYU were to beat us it would be by knocking him out of the game early, and forcing one of our freshmen into turnovers.
