Pruitt’s Defense is Concerning

We're gonna see a ton of no huddle, quick snap all season if Pruitt doesn't make an adjustment. We might make every team look like Oklahoma. We are getting punched in the mouth staring at the sideline.

Not really.

The D-line is lacking depth and we've known this all season. Georgia has one of (if not THE) best O-line in the nation and one of the best running games. They also have one of the best QBs in the nation.

No one should've thought our D stood a chance this game. Same deal against Bama. We've got to build more depth in the front 7 to compete with teams of this caliber.

I'm more interested in how the D holds up against teams like SC, Mizzou, Miss State, and Vandy.

The D look real bad.
D line looks worse than bad
Secondary looks not good
LB’s look not good (vs a real good team)
The O line looks fine on passing downs
O line doesn’t look great on running downs
Where are the rushing attempts coaches?
QB play looks WAY better
RB’s 38 yards on 9 attempts (need more att’s)
Receivers looking good

Team looks much more motivated
D still lining up wrong at times (or not getting lined up)

The only improvement I have seen is in the QB play.....not sure how this took so long (given how bad it was and how much better the entire O is)

Hopeful for the future, but without a lot more improvement things still don’t look good......especially with the D.
So...specifically...how do you think we look?

Georgia being better has nothing to do with it. It's game 5 and we don't know how to line up. This is clearly a coaching issue.
Stop acting like they’ve been doing it the whole game. It’s been a handful of plays but it did bite them bad at the end of the half.

Say what you want but I’ve not been impressed with Pruitt’s defense this year.

His players are still having trouble getting lined up, blown coverage, bad tackling.

He’s supposed to be a defensive genius but I’m not seeing it.
He has not performed well there... and needs to take some heat for it.

Theres been maybe 2 plays where there was some confusion lining up. You clearly have some sort of agenda.

two words most of you seem to be overlooking:

JEREMY BANKS

one of the better players on D we had, just got dismissed yesterday. That doesn't leave a lot of time to plan around it and its not just next player up.

Mind you, that isnt the only problem but seriously, we are horribly short against the #3 team, losing Banks did not help/.

I couldn't agree more.

I have further serious concern about his player evaluation overall. We'd be 4-0 if he'd been starting this kid all year. I don't know how he got overlooked. Reminds me of our last coach.

Hindsight is always 20/20. The reason many are concerned about the defense is because we simply dont have the players. Just look at the speed differential. It's gargantuan. But hey you and some others keep finding ways to hate on the coach.
