    QB Justin Worley commitment

Getting Worley in my opinion is a real good pickup for UT. But this information, even though coming from someone who covers ND, is not accurate. ND did like Worley, but he was not their No. 1 on the board at any point in time.

    QB Justin Worley commitment

This is a good pickup for Tennessee. Worley is never going to blow people away with supreme physical gifts, but I love his overall package as a QB. As he gets bigger, stronger, and hopefully gets his technical issues worked out, he will have a chance to be a pretty good QB. The good news is...

    Justin Hunter > Da'rick Rogers...

Thanks for clearing that up! It has been a couple of seasons since I followed up on HS football in Tidewater.

    Justin Hunter > Da'rick Rogers...

When I was coaching I recruited the Hampton Roads area. I believe Jim Prince is still the coach at Ocean Lakes. If that is still the case, I will tell you this, the WR's at his HS are not the most "college prepared" players in the area, if you catch my drift. I had one kid who caught maybe...

VN Article: Breaking Down Tom Smith

You'd be surprised. Kids aren't as fast as they claim, or coaches claim, etc. I think we would all admit that the high majority of players do not get slower after four years of college. Yet there was a high volume of players who supposedly got slower through college, as their pro day and...

VN Article: Breaking Down Tom Smith

I write for ESPN sites, so for better or worse I have to go with the numbers they give. That's why I talked about the fact he plays faster than a 4.82, so I'm not concerned about his listed 40 time. But there aren't as many "real" 4.4 players around the country as people think. I've...

VN Article: Breaking Down Tom Smith

It would not surprise me if he ran a 4.82, if it was an official time. Running the 40 isn't just about speed, it's also about technique. If it was an electronic time there are many factors that go into a time. Smith is not a burner, but he plays fast enough to be a big time back in my view...

VN Article: Breaking down Justin Worley

Unless Bray or Nance are starting this and are visible to recruits, they often identify more with a highly regarded kid in their own class. Covering ND the players like Michael Floyd, John Goodman, and Kyle Rudolph talked more about Dayne Crist than they did Jimmy Clausen, despite the fact...

    '11 TN OL/DL Antonio Richardson

I recently started doing film evaluations for this site. I am a Notre Dame fan and have been working for ND for about three years now doing prospect evaluations and game breakdowns. I saw some of the comments concerning James Stone in this thread and in others. I'm surprised that UT fans are...

VN Article: Breaking Down Rory Anderson

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the article. Anderson is a really good prospect athletically. If he is able to gain some weight and strength he could be a sleeper. Dooley and Chaney love TE's who can catch the football. Even if his lack of size prevents him from becoming an every down TE, his...
