Florida fans saying same thing we said about UCLA

I guess getting shut out 21-0 in the first half at Corvallis, and throwing a pick in the end zone, must have really helped win that game. And missing a 2-point conversion at the end of the game, all the defense's fault, right Oski? The fact is SC won nothing after Chow left, and on boards...

Florida fans saying same thing we said about UCLA

really? Did you ever watch them under John David Booty? Guess you missed them losing to Oregon State, Stanford (41 point underdog) and UCLA, while offensive shortcomings were blamed for each subsequent failure to reach another BCS title game post-Chow.

Florida fans saying same thing we said about UCLA

Don't forget that when USC won their one crystal ball, Kiffin was carrying Norm Chow's clipboard. After Chow left, Kiffin and then Sarkisian struggled, they won no more titles, and the SC fan base was vilifying both, and almost gleefully happy when Kiffin bolted for the Raiders. Basically...

    What cost us the game

The key to the 4th down play call was the Price and Jerzy S. (two starting tackles) were on the sideline, and there was supposedly a huge drop-off the backup tackles Carter and Ward (Ward was injured most of Fall camp). Tenn. had to see this and ran to the vacated spot, but both Ward and Carter...

UCLA fan comments on Neyland experience

will second that original post.....we had a great time in Knoxville and the game was memorable experience, win or lose. (Sure the memories are a lot sweeter now, but 36 more inches and it's a different story). I've been to Austin, Norman and Lincoln, and I'd say Neyland had the best...

Prince out 3 to 4 weeks

Bruin fan here, came back from Knoxville very appreciative of how gracious and cool everyone at Neyland was, even after the game: we were invited to countless tailgates after the game. We enjoyed the pre-game, saw the Vol Walk, got to Calhoun's Friday night, all in all a great and memorable...

    UT opened @-10 now 7' ????

Not a full scouting report, but I'll give a little input: first off the new freshman punter kicks the ball very high, and punt and KO coverage teams look solid, so that first punt return for 6 might be the only stretch I've read here. As for the rest, the Bruin offensive line looks much...

    Southern Hospitality

we're coming in Thursday morning from LA, and can't wait to experience Neyland for the first time. Hope the game turns out to be a good one, but the feeling here is Tenn. has been waiting 12 months for revenge and they aren't going to be in a good mood. Having been in the tunnel last year with...
