Even in the 05 and 08 seasons UT was still a top 15 defense so yeah Chavis was a good D coordinator. I thought after last year when Wilcox left that they should have put up the money for him to come back.

Troy had a top 25 ranked offense before they played UT and they averaged over 30 points a game. Missouri's offense is ranked 100th in the nation and they are banged up across the Offensive line and QB. They may score some points, but they aren't that good.

Not saying it will happen, but what if Dooley was fired and Gruden accepted the job and we went 6-6 next season or worse? Would VN call for his head just as mush as they did Fulmer's or Dooley's?

Actually the offense probably would have been better with a better defense. I believe it would have been a difference in all the games besides the Bama game. We would have run the ball more most likely and be finishing games instead of coming back in games.
