I was secretly hoping Troy would upset us. The season is a wash now anyway what do we really get out of beating Vandy and Kentucky only? Whatever gets Dooley fired is what I want to happen at this point. I really am not looking forward to being 0-5 in the SEC next season after our first 5 sec games for the 4th straight year. And that is what WILL HAPPEN if Dooley stays here another year. He simply gets out coached by every coach in our conference minus Joker. I personally hope we only beat Ky the rest of the season because we should have never lost to them last year in the first place, hope we lose to everyone else to perhaps speed up our coaching search.

I don't have to want them to lose. I just have to wait. Unfortunately it will happen because we are out coached.

Once the person admits the secret, then it ceases to be a secret. I didnt ask "who here secretly wants UT lose, admit it, then you still keep the secret." I understand this takes some complex thinking..but come on.

I don't have to hope, i think we will lose to them.. This is a bad team, capable of losing 2 out of the last 3 easily..

If Dooley stays here is what will happen...possibly Bray, Hunter, and Patterson stick around to support their coach...maybe James, Stone, Bullard and Fulton decide Not to test the NFL market and stick around...we will be without Rogers, Riveria,Thomas for sure....so if Dooley goes possibly the entire offense will be gone except for tiny and a few running backs....do you actually think we can beat oregon, fla,ga,sc,ala,with a whole new offensive scheme and crew..get real....if Dooley stays perhaps we have a shot...new coach, new scheme....no shot ....in fact team goes back 3-4 years...is that what you people want....

At one point(48-41 Troy) I actually thought that losing to Troy might be what we needed. But that thought quickly went away. I just can't pull against the Vols. Not physically possible.

Man people that start this Bull S*** is not a true VOL. I real fan doesn't ever wish for his/her team to lose. I don't care if we have hit rock bottom. I'm VFL

No one will admit this man but deep down a lot of fans are seeing this season a throw away just to get rid of dooley. So secretly yes a lot of fans are.

I think a lot of us had a little hope for this year.. The defense has been so bad i just want the year to end now.. Never have i been this tired of watching bad defense... The offense has been good, not great.. It would have had to be great almost perfect to beat anyone worth a shat on our schedule....

I see your point. But I also see their point(Those who pulled against UT). I physically cannot do it. But, I did try. But they are no less loyal than you or me. As a matter of fact, they are MORE PASSIONATE than either of us. Losing hurts them more, than me or you. :peace2:

Ok, playing devil's advocate.....For everyone saying "NEVER", "not a true fan", etc...

What if...you were assured, 100%, that Dooley would be fired Sunday, and Gruden(or dream coach of your choice), would be named next head coach on Monday? As for me, if winning out means more of the same as the last 3 years, yes, I accept defeat.

Not saying it will happen, but what if Dooley was fired and Gruden accepted the job and we went 6-6 next season or worse? Would VN call for his head just as mush as they did Fulmer's or Dooley's?
