EVERY time we have time left in the half Dooley lets it run. Our offense can score at least give them a chance for a FG. Makes me livid

So we call a TO with 45 seconds, and they punt it from our 40-45. What good can come from it? Another Young muff punt? If they had been at their end of the field, he would've called a TO. You don't try and ruin momentum when the chances are not in your favor to score.

Why wouldn't the chances be in our favor score?

We put up 383 yards in the first half and average 10 yards per pass attempt. With 45 seconds and 3 T.O.'s, why wouldn't we have good chance to put some points on the board?

Don't let your feelings about Dooley cloud your judgment. I am not a Dooley supporter but that decision is fine. If OL misses a block deep in your own territory you would be pissed at Dooley too.

2 seconds is soooo much time. Could definitely have scored at least a field goal IMO.

At best we are at the 20 after the punt with 38-40 seconds left. At worst, they punt it perfectly and force Young to catch it inside the 10. Don't be dumb.

It gives missouri a chance to put more points on the board and eliminates any chance of us scoring. That is piss poor game management anyway you slice it.

Today, allowing the clock to run out was absolutely the right decision. Against Alabama it was absolutely the wrong decision. Maybe he's learning???

At best the ball flys over the punter's head or we get a score. You cannot play scared and win in the sec.

You cannot play stupid and that's exactly what that is. No coach in the SEC would've called a TO there. If they were at their own 30-40 you be aggressive. Not there.

You have a 14 pt lead. They are going to punt. You call a timeout, and it can turn to points for them as they reconsider a punt.
Unlike last week when he gave Troy points with a timeout, he made the right call here.
And its not debatable.

Was it now? Missouri could've thrown a hail mary down the field with no threat of us getting the ball back with any significant time. They must punt if we take the timeout immediately

and if he muffs another punt and Miss gets the ball and scores you would talk about how you can't make play calls like that in the sec.

At least it would give Palardy a chance to miss one WIDE left today and finally zero in his aim.

It's actually a game of percentages and even though we have moved the ball at will you don't want to take a risk and turn the ball over. We have the momentum going into the half and the D is playing good just keep it up and get the W.

We get the ball deep in our own territory with 35 seconds left several things could happen and most of them are bad.
