Most of time Heisman trophy winners aren’t that good overall. They are good college qbs that can run out of trouble and pull a play out. Not what NFL qb need or do.
Fulmer never developed a program?????! What in the world are you talking about. He developed one of the best four years any programs have ever had. Remember the 45-5 stretch.
I think there is to much hype, to much talk and players thinking to much about Florida. I’ve said before the vols went into Birmingham in 95 with a 8 game losing streak with a tie in 93. The entire week leading up to the game was different, there wasn’t much talk the players even Peyton said...
Did you listen to him at media days last week? He wasn’t allowed to change a play or even check off on coverage. Which I hope with it being Pruitt second season along with an experience coach as Chaney he will be opened up to be more of a leader.
I just don’t understand you guys. What my eyes are seeing? He can’t hold onto the ball to long because he had less than 3 seconds on most plays to throw it.
Let’s for one more time break this down as an offensive coordinator and let’s look at how a very under average can make this offense look...
The quick reads wasn’t there. Do you guys ever watch or rewatch games and plays by pausing plays and looking at the field. The receivers were getting bumped or not making cuts quick enough. The receivers make the quick reads not the qb. Hangs onto the ball to long??? Are you kidding me he had...
It comes down to time and players running the correct routes on quick reads. Like I said watch the ETSU game. They rushed three and he was knocked down, didn’t have a chance on most plays. Manning would’ve struggled last season with that line.
